It's simple to see what needs to be corrected for 2014

O You though Our secondary was a strength? Did you watch the games the past three years? Our secondary has been a problem for a while.

    Bryan Cook to Army

Smart move on his part though, getting off the sinking ship while he still can.

When did this happen? Didn't see that

    Reason for Optimism

I doubt Oreiley wins the job over burden, unless he's uber slow coming off the knee injury. Why do you think the offensive line is going to be more consistent AfTer loosing three seniors?

    Addressing the Vad Lee situation

Hate to see it come to this, but I believe Vad has a much higher ceiling of potential in a shotgun system and not running this wierd **** that we do. Paul refuses to Tailor the offense to his players strengths. If I was him I would be gone, heck I wouldn't have even signed with tech in the first...

    The Texas Job

If I were Texas I would make Mark Dantonio my top pick. He built the program at michigan state into a solid fundamentally sound team with a killer defense, which is exactly what Texas needs

Jemea Thomas invited to NFL combime

He can play damn good football, my only concern with his invite is that he might not have the measurables that teams are looking for. The team that takes him is going to need to realize that, while he may not be the fastest, tallest, most athletic corner, he is a baller. One of the most sound...

What would you do about our coach?

Duke said something similar. I like roof as a DC, but if we do change coaches next year(which is not a sure thing at all) we are going to need an offensive coach to preform damage control on the scheme change. That being said, I think the majority of this talk is fueled by the post-lost...

    Offensive Line Development

I played both lines in high school, and I personally don't understand this strategy. My guess is that they are trying to make the lineman interchangeable since we struggle to consistently field a two deep. I personally am a fan of sticking to one position because it allows players to get better...

    juco's

See the thread about Whitehead. He is the DE that you are reffering to. To answer your question though, I can't remember a JuCo prospect that weve landed in recent memory. We don't necessarily have a feeder school to benefit from.

    Today's College Football & Athletes

I never could imagine playing in a lether helmet. I got knocked around enough in a newer DNA helmet. I give a lot of respect to the old balls players. They may not have been nearly as big, strong, or fast, but they went through a lot more ****, both practice wise and pain wise, than I ever did.

    Coaching Carousel

I would love to see Franklin go. He has been nothing but a thorn in our side since he took that job. Plus the Vandy job isn't great at all. He has a low cieling there. Hopefully he realizes this and goes somewhere far far away.

    Today's College Football & Athletes

I understand your point, but unlike automobile safty football can't be made safer by something as simple as a seatbelt. Pads and a helmet are football's "seatbelt". There is no way to put a speed limit on players or other automotive measures to ensure playersafety Football is a violent game and...

question regarding GT (vs Opponents) O formation

I've always been a fan of having as many big bodies as possible. The more trench players you have, the better trench players your going to have. This is due both to a larger talent pool and the ability to throw multiple guys in without a drop off. When you have all those guys it really pushes...

    Today's College Football & Athletes

PEDs are present in high school, but not to a very deep extent. I wouldn't say it's a pressing issue at that level

    Today's College Football & Athletes

Football is a violent sport. Injuries are going to happen, and there is NO way to prevent them. The new rule changes are hurting the game in many different ways, and I fear a bubble wrap rule is in the works. As someone who recently finished his ball playing career, nothing pissed me off more...

question regarding GT (vs Opponents) O formation

You would have to include opposing teams TEs to make the numbers more accurate. But I like the topic, it's something I've always wondered about CPJ. It seems like we divert lots of resources to having an overflowing stable of RBs, when we should be spending more ships on the trenches. It always...
