I agree. Im not as worried about football as I am basketball. I dont believe Bball has the recruiting restrictions and hoops to jump through like football does so we should definitely be keeping the big fish in state. I dont say alot of good things about Hewitt but he had recruiting down pat...
Ive seen some decent runs out of Bostic against the lesser teams. Most of his memorable plays came thru the passing game. As a runner... This guy absolutely runs into his blockers almost every single time. I believe that is the reason he hasnt seen any PT and wont in the foreseeable future.
The D is most definitely the problem and has been.for a while now. But in their defense. The offense sputtered alot in big games and left them in bad spots with field position and 3 and outs. But the D has glaring weaknesses that need to be addressed, maybe even more focus on that than the O.
Im not aware of the $$$ ramifications of letting him go after this year, but I think next year will be his final year unless the team has some sort of magic season like UVA is having right now.
No doubt about it. Both lines are essential to our success on the field. But if were talking about who I want to stand out the most. Its gotta be the Bback position for me. Its been a glaring weakness IMO for a few years now. I know the stats show that Sims was serviceable, but I cant name 1...
Atomic Jacket is right about the we got what we paid for thing. CBG was never expected to become a great head coach. But he was given the opportunity while Tech was hurting for money. Hes had some pretty bad breaks since getting here. Im convinced that there is no way that CBG can turn this...
Clemson just isnt that good of a team... But they are well coached so tbeh are doing exactly how we SHOULD be doing. The coaching is the reason they are in the spot they are in and were in the spot that we are in.
Everything we do looks scripted... like we never improvise to get good looks. Plus nobody can make an entry pass except maybe Holsey. Its just poor coaching IMO and i think its time for a new philosophy
Nope im a youngin. Was born in 87 but i played bball my entire life up until college so i know a thing or 2 about how the game is supposed to be played and we arent doing that. Im a big history junkie so I know all about those guys. Ive been saying for a while we dont need superstars , just...
No he didnt. But he recruited him and chose to put him back on the floor. Im looking at it like this.... We lose Miller,Golden and Holsey. We have Heyward and Jorg back with 1 coming off a knee injury. So we have alot to replace and that wont be done in 1 year. So we get the next class in and up...
Embarassing loss @ home again. Its going to be a while before CBG can turn this around. Get out now before we get stuck in pergatory forever. Clemson wins this game on hustle and wanting it more. Our offense is nothing like MSU. Why did we hire him again? He was a transition hire... Its time to...
This is where CBG needs somebody to help him. Our offense is straight garbage and its also not getting taught well. CBG needs to hire a offensive minded assitant and let him take over that end of the floor. Runnings ball screens and running baseline to baseline is uneffective
If youre too slow at decision making just move 1 way or the other and do it quickly. Always be ready to shoot. You know when youre open or not. It irritates me to no end watching slow paced sets.
