  1. CPJ Radio Interview

We will get the yards. Question is holding on to the ball. Will have more turn overs at BB? I thought Braswell HS highlights looked good. Did he play in the spring game last year? How did he do? Must not have been much for CJ Leggett to jump past him and Quaide to a big topic of...
  2. ESPN: Tech #5 team trending upward after signing day

What is flashy about an O that snaps the ball back to a guy that keeps or hands off to the other guy back there with him. Or passes a short 3 to 5 yard pass hoping the D can't tackle which most don't seem to be able to do. . IMHO, I think the TO is much more interesting to watch. What I...
  3. Spring Practice Who to watch for?

We have the talent for BB. The ?? is ball security and the mesh. I am sure The three QBs will be working with new guys to get the mesh down before start of spring practice and during Summer prior to start of Fall season. How well they hang on to the ball will be seen during spring/fall...
  4. Turnovers: Why We Were So Good in 2014

Even in hind sight a half dozen plays could have had us undefeated or not in The ACCCG or OB. The cliche of " matter of inches" plays out over and over again in competitive sports. Injuries can't be predicted. How will the new SA adjust to college and it academic demands (at least at GT) so...
  5. Byerly to Bback

I would too would take TB over JN. But has been said the sample size for judging TB is small. JN was the warrior etc and stepped in at changing of the guard and had to adjust to a new offense and did a great job. He did not beat UGA and FSU twice by himself. As as pointed out in other...
  6. Spring Game Matchup ?

From what I little I have seen of Byerly he has a better arm and more accurate arm than JT5. He does not have the speed, acceleration and quickness including as quick a pass release but passing wise he is as good or better IMHO.
  7. Byerly to Bback

I do not understand why Tim was not put on the field during the last minutes of the OB. There were some other games also where I thought he could have been put in the final minutes and wasn't. There also have been times that JT5 looked like a two play breather or series would really help JT5...
  8. 2015 Spring Depth Chart

Justin Bryan 6-5 235 Jr. and Ryan Braswell 5-11 211 RSFR are listed as BB on 2014 roster. Braswell HS highlights look pretty good and played in a TO offense. Obviously CJ has passed them but are they still here and could one of them be a BB sleeper?
  9. Spring Practice Who to watch for?

I don’t recall any of the following 9 FR on the 2014 roster being discussed anywhere on the boards. Are they walk ons or just have not been able to elevate above the older guys. They are all OL or DB our deeper positions Cheyenne HuntOL 6-0 245; Kevo YeremianOL 6-4 290; Jake WhitleyOL 6-4 288...
  10. Byerly to Bback

If Jordan is making real progress and CPJ sees he is capable to be a #2 QB Then give Byerly opportunity somewhere else. But Jordan would need some reps in first two games to prove Byerly could be used else where. I have wanted to see some special wildcat formations with Byerly in the...
  11. Spring Practice Who to watch for?

Spring game will be fun to see who steps up and how well our EE are coming along.
  12. Spring Practice Who to watch for?

Exactly we have had some pretty good walk ons , Bedford, Godhigh plus big improvement like Snoddy. The new class except for the 4 EE have a lot to learn come Summer and Fall. The Fr and RSFR have been here and should be getting familiar with the system. Are the not talked about guys going to...
  13. Spring Practice Who to watch for?

unless Swilling has added weight he looks more like A back material and is listed behind Martenson in depth charts. Spring practice will provide opportunity for some hidden gems hopefully
  14. Spring Practice Who to watch for?

Justin Bryan BB Is there any possibilty he can contribute this year?
  15. Spring Practice Who to watch for?

Ryan Braswell BB 5-11 211 His HS high lights show him to be a pretty good candidate for B back. Played in TO offense as B back. Have not heard his name mentioned so must not be catching the coaches eye.
  16. Spring Practice Who to watch for?

I took following list of FR & RSFR from Roster. Many I have never heard mentioned. 29 FR; 13 RSFR. 42 Total These numbers seem high. Trey Klock .OL 6-4 273; Casey Wilson LS 6-2 202; Tyler Merriweather DE 6-3 231; Antonio Simmons DL 6-3 228 Step Durham DB 5-11 188; Cheyenne Hunt OL 6-0...
  17. Spring Practice Who to watch for?

looks like there will have to be some freshmen A backs and B backs on the playing field this fall. Searcy practiced at A back, Lynch also??
  18. Spring Practice Who to watch for?

The new recruits are great additions but won't be here until Summer and we won't know very much about them until Fall practice starts. Who do you see flying under the radar that we expect to come on strong for making us better next year. Or who to keep an eye on in the Spring game. How do you...
