How about Nick Saban.:meh: I think he would be the closest to a guarantee to get the program to an elite level. None of those listed above would guarantee a better outcome than CPJ. I do think CPJ is moving us in the right direction, but it is taking longer than many like.

I want to see Vad take the next step in running the option. Good reads on the give/keep/pitch. Run the option at full speed without hesitation. If he does make a bad read, tuck the ball and get whatever yards are there and move to the next play. I want to see the receivers catch every ball...

I agree with us not being very efficient right now. The effective passing takes to pressure off of running, since teams load the box and dare us to pass. That is why CPJ says we need to be more effective when we pass.

Yes, I also think CPJ understands he needs to be more effective when we pass and in some cases we need to pass more, but he prefers to run. I don't have the statistics, but Alabama prefers to run most of the time also.

I am missing your point about passing. Would passing more move us up in the pass ratings? Probably, but it might move us down in offense because we are not very good at it yet. I think CPJ would like to pass more, but we have some pieces missing right now? Passing is not a magic pill we can...

Just because we run 85% of the time does not guarantee we are top 5 or even top 10 in rushing. We are top 5 because we run 85% of the time and for the most part it works. Would I like to see more passing? Only if it helps us win. Winning is the goal, not passing more.

I didn't think Chan should have been fired and I don't think Paul should be fired. Paul is finally getting his players in and coached up, recruiting is getting better. We fire Paul and it will take the new coach two or three years to get his players in and get a recruiting system in place. I...
