The OL sucks, plain and simple. They have basically all year and they can't use the injury or youth excuse. We've had spotty OL play for multiple seasons under PJ.

I don't get the Butch talk since dah U just had a major NCAA investigation and Butch basically got run out of UNC for NCAA infractions as well.

I could make the argument that beating FSU and the mutts in the same season is better than going to a random, low tier bowl game. With that being said, I hope we run the table and I think it's very possible.

If the defense plays closer to the way they did against FSU, we'll win by 10+ points. If the defense plays more like they did against UNC, Pitt and CU, it could go either way and I really wouldn't like our chances.

For me, the 5 game losing streak was worth it to beat this team and end their streak.

Hard to argue with this...Our O will probably put up some points but between Cook and our vanilla D, they will score at will. The streak goes to 6...

This my real complaint about Roof. We are too vanilla on defense. PJ complains all the time about not being able to rush the QB with the front 4 yet we hardly blitz and when we do, it's our 225 pound LB trying to take on a 300 pound OG. We're not talented enough to win 1 on 1 battles at the LOS...

Spot on...last year our best defense was our offense's ability to not only put up points but possess the ball.

Two things... 1) Would you have the same feeling about Roof if he wasn't a "GT" guy? 2) Roof may not be able to get on the field but he needs to put our guys in spots where they can be better. That's not my opinion, that's fact based off his time here.

I think we have enough talent on D to be respectable. I just don't think we do a good job of coaching them up or putting them in position to succeed.

If it wasn't for Tenuta's defenses, the previous head coach would've lost a lot more games during his tenure at GT.
