That’s a true freshman that made one mistake. I’m much more upset about an experienced Olineman repeatedly making incorrect line calls and upperclassmen fumbling.

How does this happen? Getting physically whipped by better guys is one thing, but making repeated incorrect calls for something you’ve practiced for all week is inexcusable.

It’s also about lack of continuity on that side. We’ve changed DCs, along with some of the staff, every few years. Recruiting is building relationships. Need continuity there.

Actually, while this used to be the case, it’s not any more. A stroll around campus on game day will show you otherwise. We’d do well to not parrot the same crap as our enemies.

Again, that’s another unfair comparison. I would love for GT to have N.C. State’s situation to recruit to, meaning their curriculum and entrance requirements. I think we would compete for the ACC pretty much every year with that.

This is essentially what we run. We just do it from under Center and with our slot receivers bunched in tight as A backs.
