McKinnon was a three-star out of Cobb County (Sprayberry, maybe?). so he wasn't that under the radar. We maybe recruited him without offering. Byerly was only a two star recruit per Rivals but was the player of the year in his classification.
As for Laskey, didn't the coaches go to scout Jeff...
I was hoping to see what he could as a 6-1 corner. Fortunately, I think we have enough there now with Dotson and maybe Dorian Walker as well to go with Durham and the other returners.
Back to Tech ... some chatter on the Georgia Southern board that their new coach talked to Cook about being the new OC. Doesn't look like it's going to happen, tho, if true.
Disappointing: The inability to convert on third and fourth downs this year. The lack of a pass rush. The seeming season-long confusion among a veteran offensive line. The turnovers on offense. Summers and Hunt-Days bailing. Hunt-Days not making much of an impact before that. JT trying to force...

Hopefully, for the Eagles going forward, he took notes on what not to do in 2006.
But...
Two trips to Blacksburg? Crap. (j/k)
I actually like the chances in all the OOC games. Vanderbilt will be good defensively but they are sewage plant in August on offense. Georgia? No offensive line, no big time receivers, best LBs probably all leaving ... have fun, young Mr. Eason.
Need to...
