And as a bonus:
Coach Joseph became the all-time winningest coach in Georgia Tech history after a 74-66 win vs. Clemson
One of the great players in women's basketball becomes one of the great coaches in women's basketball.
First, wonderful idea for a post Js.
Second, I totally agree, option offense is football sat its purest. Love this sentence: "The dominant beauty of option football when executed at a high level with the right personnel."
Just based on number of wins/losses. What do you do with Boise with 12 wins?
...............Won Lost
1 Oregon.... 13 1
2 Ohio St.... 13 1
3 FSU......... 13 1
4 TCU.........12 1
5 Ala............12 2
6Mich St..... 11 2
7 Baylor.......11 2
8 GT............ 11 3

CO - As far as testimonials to GT and things around GT you graduate with honors. That is an impressive post.
And yeah, doing it the right way is the only way. Integrity does matter. Johnson is the fit for Georgia Tech.
And yeah! Perdoni! You get one of those about every generation.
Bottle of wine later and the win is as sweet as ever.
Next season there is no one on the schedule Tech cannot beat! No one! I haven't been able to say that in 60 years or more.
11 and 3 by a team with recruits rated 55th in the nation. Does coaching matter? Does coaching matter?? Does...
TCU is trying to make the point that they should be at the big dance. They have a great argument.
But we always come back to the sit 30 days and play another game farce that is the bowl games.
Stephens is a puzzlement. He hit 6 of 8 three pointers against UGA and has hit 10 of 35 since.
It is depressing for a long time GT fan to watch the recent teams shoot from outside. I recall 1986 game against Maryland at the Thrillerdome.
In the second half for an eight 1/2 minute stretch...
Leggett has had a year in the program and will have spring and fall camps to get ready.
Quaide will have a spring and fall camp to get ready.
And we do not need to leave out Braswell the W/O from Pius X and Bryan (6'5 235) who is being carried on the roster as a BB.
And there has been...
What bothers me, and has for decades, is that you get your offense running at peak efficiency and then shut it down from 25 to 30 days. Then try to start it up again.
The last part of the season Thomas had the GT offense running on all 11 cylinders. Can we regain that edge?
Note the really nice article in the ajc on GT and MSU and a tremendous act of class by Johnson and his team.

Story I do not recall seeing in the past.
Tech has not played a real game in 25 days. MSU has not played in 32 days. No one has a clue how this game will unfold.
This is the fallacy of January championship and bowl games; a big joke.
This sentence is in the ajc article on Joe:
"Having missed his entire sophomore season with the shoulder injury, he is eligible to apply for a medical redshirt and receive another year of eligibility. Joe said he is waiting to decide on applying but is considering it."...
For years most of us have looked at the Tech schedule and mentally marked down a couple or more games as probable losses.
That negative thinking has come to an end.
There is no one on next season's schedule Tech cannot beat.
