Guys that stepped up to me were:
Nick Brigham
Trey Klock
Marcus Allen
Francis Kallon
Jalen Johnson
Shwan Kangawa
Que Searcy
I think these guys earned some playing time with their spring performance.

Mississippi State fans had cause to be confident? Just for their information, MSU has never beaten GT in football. Never. So why wouild they not be confident going in. I think they forgot to study their football history. Typical SEC BS.
Go Jackets!
No wonder I did not notice Chamberlin much. I did see him on the sideline and thought he was in on some plays, but now that I think of it, I never actually saw him on the field.
Go Jackets!
After watching the game and seeing how much more effective the white offense was than the gold offense was, I thought I would break down the composition of both groups and analyze a little more of what was going on here.
In looking at the Gold Roster you had 9 linemen of which only two that I...
Sometimes a coach will move a player to a position that does not make sense to wake them up, to motivate them, to tell them "hey you have been here long enough to show us something but as of now you have failed to do so". I think that is what was going on with Marcus. I think for whatever...
Marcus is legit. He got hurt early in the second half when tackled from behind. He got up and walked gingerly back to the huddle. He stayed in there and kept carrying the ball hard up the middle. He is strong enough now and will only get stronger and better. I think he has found his spot...
Good observations Cuse. Some other guys that caught my eye where Byerly (he is got to be the best back up QB in America can run and throw), Erin Joe and Trey Klock did well at Tackle, Brigham did well at Center, Lynch and Searcy showed some ability. The first team offense out played the first...
gtalltheway I think you understate the performance of the A backs in 2014. Deon Hill, Charles Perkins and Tony Z. all made significant contributions. If you don't think so just rewatch the UGA game. Hill and Perkins were both huge in that game. With Snoddy coming off an injury and Andrews...
That's football. People get hurt. It's next man up. I guess Marcus Allen and some walk ons are what we will see tomorrow night. More opportunity available for those willing to step up and take it.
Go Jackets!
This is a dumb idea. Whoever thought this up had no grasp of football history and or math. Let's just get the playoff up to 8 teams nationally and play the games to see who is the best team.
Go Jackets!
Harsh maybe, but he has been in the program long enough to have made more progress on this issue than he has. This young man has a chance to be a multi millionaire and play professional football. It's in his hands. He just needs to get serious about it.
Go Jackets!
This comes down to his maturity or lack thereof. At some point you have to accept accountability for your life and this includes what you put in your mouth and how much exercise you commit to. I am pulling for Shamire but until he grows up and accepts the fact he is responsible for his weight...
Worst case he needs a lot of time to heal and has to redshirt, which he might have done anyway. Best case he heals up and is ready for Fall camp and shows enough ability to play as a true freshman. Reality is probably somewhere in the middle which leads me to anticipate a redshirt year for QW...
DressedCheeseSide is getting his mind right. If our defense follows suit, they will be talking GT football 24 / 7 come late September 2015.
Go Jackets!
DaddyBill you are right about April. Nothing like Augusta National and the Masters followed by some GT Spring Football. You have a great Easter as well.
Go Jackets!
Smelter was one of the best players in college football last year. Should have been All ACC and All American. I would take him over any other receiver that played last season. In the same class as Cooper at Alabama.
Go Jackets!
You cannot pin all of your hopes and dreams on any one player, not even Justin Thomas. Football is a sport that exacts a high price at times. On any given play, you can lose any player. So you have to build your team with depth and frequent rotation of personnel as key ingredients. Many...
You got to be kidding about Freeman. He was a freshman all american. He played his *** off and was a big part of our 11 and 3 successful season. He will be even better this year. Our defense was actually pretty good as we got into the later part of the year.
Go Jackets!
