JJ was with his blocking truthfully a good amount of our success in 2016 was with JJ's blocking. He's as much of an impact player as Mike Cox was for choice.
Clemson 2014. We won because of defense. With the injury to Watson Clemson was forced to lose most of their spread offense slow down and tes called a great game.
Ted isn't that bad of a coach. He like tenuta coach a style of defense that doesn't really work against spread offenses and uptempo offenses. When he was coaching linebackers they were not making bad steps etc.
I'd actually argue that in 2012 we had perhaps the most parity ever seen in a conference division. The only team that didn't end 500 before a bowl game was UVA. Now granted a lot of them lost their bowls we took the conference champions down to the wire and won our bowl.
Well seeing as ending in detroit was literally ACC sending a middle finger given where they finished in the coastal so same level of demoralization as usc faced when we beat them.
A lot the reason for USF's collapse in their season was injury. And the duke game... well without special teams...
No we weren't we had one **** year plagued by injuries, bounced back to a 9 win season with a bowl win then we had a 5-6 year where we were competitive in every game but 2 and loss some close ones, then a 7-6 year that he retired.
Johnson's only problem in 17 and 18 was not having a QB to...
They are at their position. Its why TO was listed at WR after he made the move while returning kicks even when he wasn't really getting snaps there a few games. And why howard was ATL at RB last year despite getting like 1 carry,
Its possible he's just working through this year he is a redshirt freshmen. He could be working to make that transition or he could be working with the scout O to give looks.
Basically. Going Fast also negates turnovers. If a game is limited to 11 possessions and you steal 3 with turnovers, it means a lot more in keeping things manageable than when there are 20 possessions.
A citadel drive going 3 and out eats 1:20 to 2 minutes of clock, every first down extends that by 2 minutes roughly. There were less possible possessions. Citadel at 34 minutes time of possession to clemson's 23. by comparison clemson had 34 against us. We were both not scoring and not chewing...
It was great, him and mack brown were great together. Another gem was.
Mac: "You know when I got up i never let my QB throw."
PJ: "I never let them throw either."
the other coaches all laugh.
Also CPJ's breakdowns of what was happening on plays was amazing.
