"Someone tell dabo he's running the triple option." -Coach Paul Johnson commenting on the National Championship between Clemson and Bama.
  2. Count The Cut Blocks

    Does make it easy. lol
  3. remaining wins....

I am not, Clemson needs to stay number 1 especially with most schools playing no OOC and the only way they can do that is by beatign everyone by as many points as possible your can bet the SEC narrative could keep an undefeated clemson ranked like 4.
  4. Dave Patenaude's Offense

On less than 1 to go (which i don't think happened yesterday) under center with a 6'3 qb is perhaps a slightly higher conversion rate than snapping it back 6 to get that less than one.
  5. Count The Cut Blocks

Wow went right over your head didn't it.
  6. Clemson Post-game Thread

35 to 21 clemson victory because venerables can coach circles around pat
  7. Dave Patenaude's Offense

    Liberty just beat cuse 38-21...
  8. Dave Patenaude's Offense

I highly doubt that team with those personnel would have gone 3-8 with johnson helming it. And the issue is how he prepared fro the citdael. He literally had a roster tailor made to not be taken surprise by a damn rocket toss and yet... That is the issue.
  9. Count The Cut Blocks

Any tiem they run a quick slant the entire line cuts
  10. Game 5 ATL Chart

I feel we will see a I form heavy set with BJS at full and Mason at Tail once mason is back. I also expect we mgiht see this with gibbs and BJS too, we used it a little against cuse and didn't need it against louisville but its a good weapon to have.
  11. Dave Patenaude's Offense

Funny people always seem to care about calling out stuff from x year to now. And yes the Citadel game will forever be an embarrassment. Just like JMU is for VT.
  12. Dave Patenaude's Offense

False Equivalency, the Option isn't illegal yet.
  13. Louisville Post Game

Good team game, still some weird correctable lapses in run fits that luckily didn't cost us. 3rd and long still feels like GT Defense 3rd and Long though aka... damnit. we definitely need more perimeter running with these running backs. And I did see one missed read on an RPO (he shoudl have...
  14. Starting QB speculation

Byerly was a low ceiling high floor QB had he not been behind smoov I thinked hed have won a lot of games for us.
  15. Starting QB speculation

It's almost as if james graham was recruited to play in an offense that often threw the ball 20 yards or more down field when it threw it. OR 35 yard smoke routes to the flats.
  16. Is Collins nasty enough to be a HC ?

Not according to his coaching record they only listed one year at florida. My bad. Looks like it was two seasons and a little over 1 and a half years employment.
  17. Is Collins nasty enough to be a HC ?

He actually didn't last that long at either place. 3 years at MSU and 1 year at florida.
  18. The Kicking Game

Butker's issue was he had the yips at 30- 39 yards from the right hash. For some reason his leg swing pushed the ball left.
  19. Is Collins nasty enough to be a HC ?

Yep that was part of the problem.
  20. Butker 58 yds for the win

Smelter's knee and injury luck in the NFL lets people have these memories. Also waller was nothing special at baltimore either for the same reasons he had issues here.
