Yep, the issue he was dealing with was entirely related to the nature of 2020 and family though, so if that's been settled i don't think he'll have that problem. I would not be surprised if they have some packages with him doing some things even in the first couple games (wr reverse pass with...
This is most definitley because he missed all of spring and early summer dealing with some things. Easier to get his athleticism on the field as a WR (remember CPJ put him there too freshman year)
It doesn't really prove anything other than I didn't proof read the post well enough. The rest of the point remains. If you want to get semantical, I never said the first equation and the word problem were meant to mirror each other. But I just goofed on typing it.
I'd argue that football players in general already have the mind for math. Even if they do not know it. Think about it, think about all the patterns and rules you have to apply in just about every position the only one you don't really have to be able to read (whole formations on the field edit...
06-2010, they were still runnign 300 student halls i think you missed my point. Im not talkgin about th enormal calc 1 class. The surveys would be absolutely fine for people if they didn't have **** algebra skills.
Calculus is a fear reaction for most people. It really isn't that hard ther eis a small set of rules... apply them. THe problem is simple algebra is taught by education majors that barely got through it themselves in 6 and 7th grade.
On the numbers. of those 19 RBS i'd say atleast 10 were WR/RB hybrids and would be slot receivers in most modern offenses. The only thing we were really lacking were tight ends. (arguably big body receivers recruited by CPJ like waller would have been a TE.)
Don't underestimate the assistance a very good Scout QB can give the Defense as well. I've always thought schools should actually recruit that position as well. (The idea that lets say you run a more niche offense, you recruit a guy to be that other type of offense for you in practice, he knows...
There is some irony that we actually did run almsot a modern spread in reggie's freshman year even if we didn't have a good record. Because they wanted to keep it simple for him and let him be athletic so there was a lot of read option plays and a form of RPO (not like it is now but basically...
My post was answering why we felt the lack of pass rush even in wins. I agree winning is winning, but our offense in 2014 made up for only really having gotsis as a DL threat.
Semantics aside you know exactly what I meant. There are two methods of outscoring people. Method 1, you get in score races and hope you never miss a turn and win a high scoring 1 possession game. Method 2 you have a defense that prevents the other team from scoring.
in 2014 we definitely were...
Yeah by outscoring everyone. Prescott still threw for an orange bowl record numebr of yards. when yous teal possessions in an option offense you steamroll people quick.
Bend don't break when it works is a high turnover forcing defense, or kick forcing defense. 2014 might have been our best version of that. However we definitely felt our lack of true pass rush when we got up on people and they carved up for yards and tds.
