Actually, he has succeeded in unifying all segments - fans, players and recruits - against him.

If you sell Tech as a “stop” and not a “destination”, you condemn yourself to mediocrity.

Sad, but true. It’s a long round trip for me to watch Tech play, and I’ve done it for many years, but the sullen 4.5-5 hour rides home the last few years, after watching a shadow of the proud tradition that used to be Tech football, has just about broken my desire to make the trek.

Perhaps a good survey would answer the question without implementing it to find out. While they are asking about ticket prices, maybe the surveyors could also inquire about the elasticity in attendance based upon won-lost records. That might provide TStan some valuable guidance…

Well, Collins’ job seems to be on the line this season, so, if his best QB is on the sidelines this season and the wins are too few, Collins will have no one to blame but himself.

I know there are a “few” concerns on defense, like knowing alignments, getting a pass rush, shedding blocks, coordination in the secondary, taking proper angles, and so on, but if someone can just teach and get the players to tackle with, shall I say, enthusiasm and “bad intentions” that alone...

I hate the off-season

Wish for 10, hope for 6, expect 2 or 3. Sorry, I don’t know what the new staff brings to the table, but I don’t think Collins can become a good enough head coach between now and then to move the needle.

“Vitriol” is a little harsh, don’t you think? LOL! Maybe I, like some others who post here (and likely others, who’s interest in, and support of, Tech’s athletics may be waning) are just not as patient with, and refuse to suffer fools as lightly as, some others. Just because someone feels that...
