Special Teams was the difference in the game. Clemson proved their offense was better than the Alabama defense with 3 or 4 first round draft pick defensive linemen manning the trenches for Alabama.

Here's an idea. lets swap S&C coaches with bama and see where that gets us. Next, we keep our S&C coach, but get Bama 4 and 5 star recruits. I wonder which will produce the best results. Hmmmmm.

We don't recruit the same players that Ross and O'Leary recruited due to changes in academic standards. Talent pool may be large for other programs with less academic rigors, but not for GT. On your last paragraph, I totally agree. Freidgen ran an option based offense with more passing...

I agree Ryan. We cannot do the same thing as bigger programs who have more money, with more and better talent pool and expect to compete.

I don't wish any player get injured, but to say GT winning is because Clemson has an injury is just so wrong. We have more injuries this year on what is always a thinner lineup than most. Injuries happen. So if we win, I will not feel any less proud of GT because the opposition lost a player.
