  1. Sims and Turnovers

Also fair catch the punt.... Edit: Sorry, replied before I saw the new posts.
  2. Sims and Turnovers

Slightly off topic: but was mason's fumble truly a fumble?
  3. Best Defense vs Worst Defense in the ACC this week.

44 carries for 264 yards at a 6.0 average kind of kills that point. But yeah, we're getting torched through the air too.
  4. Sims and Turnovers

Curry needs to worry about the defense.
  5. Clemson Post-game Thread

That's pretty funny, and I should have watched that version of the broadcast.
  6. Dave Patenaude's Offense

This is a situation where we really miss a guy like mason. Gibbs is amazing and a better contact runner than I thought, but he isn't Mason. Dontae Smith is a little bit of a "Gibbs-lite" and Griffin has had some moments. Im not saying Mason gets the one yard there but he is better getting...
  7. Clemson Post-game Thread

I'm going to do something a little different here. The long pass to Camp was nice. It was fun being tied with clemson for 3 seconds. Jordan domineek sack early on was nice. Wheels fell off after that. I don't think Gibbs played in the second half and I was a littlr shocked we kept playing...
  8. Clayton had 2 sacks ?

He had a nice pass breakup near the end of the game. Don't remember the exact situation but it was either a 3rs or 4th down.
  9. Starting QB speculation

Seriously. That's about all we need to lock this thread.
  10. Clayton had 2 sacks ?

This was the first time since around 2009 (when we had derrick morgan) where the d-line absolutely took over the game late. Clayton is a beast. He was straight bull rushing the tackle into the QB. If you think that's "nothing special" I'm not sure what to tell you.
  11. What would you most like to see tomorrow night (other than a win)?

I'm going simple: On defense - I have just two requests. #1 - get lined up especially against no huddle. #2 - Avoid the game-breaking big plays in a tight game. On offense - Limit the mistakes. We're getting the yards. Limit the mistakes and we'll get the points.
  12. Starting QB speculation

Seems like one of the coaching points may be to recognize when a play is a disaster and protect the football.
  13. Couch Coach

Hard to do when missing your top two TEs at a position that doesn't particularly have depth in the first place.
  14. #GTvsCUSE Postgame

IBee, what do you suggest we do on defense? Is it injuries or is it time to play the younger players
  15. #GTvsCUSE Postgame

It *should* have led to 3 points, but that FG was "blocked". Correction, it was 2nd and 33 and they got to 3rd and 4.
  16. #GTvsCUSE Postgame

Turn of the game, for me, was the 3 play quick score by syracuse after we got the game within 3. That was a dagger. Even after UCF we seemed to have a hard time getting lined up especially after big plays. Gibbs is a special player. At times, we moved the ball at will running, but stupid...
  17. ProJackets Update

The way the Falcons have been (not) covering - could he really do any worse?
  18. Article GT vs UCF Postgame Thread

Sims had some chances for sure. I think early on (prior to the missed field goal) he had Brown in the corner of the end zone and overthrew him. Missed on a few intermediate throws. UCF was playing a lot of single high but tended to shift into two deep on obvious passing downs. We had a nice 3rd...
  19. Article GT vs UCF Postgame Thread

They were still moving the chains after the play started. No idea on the rules on that. There were times I noticed when they held us from snapping the ball. Not that we were moving particularly fast, it was clear we were having more issues on offense today.
  20. Article GT vs UCF Postgame Thread

Comical. I forgot about that. Felt like I was watching a Duke game.
