Did he ever have a called pass play? He may have and I missed it. I wanted to see what his arm looked like, but nothing. I get the feeling with him that the offense would be even more of a run offense.
I was hoping Graham would play. Oliver is an option QB only. If he is a passer at all, then call me confused with how PJ runs games with insurmountable leads. He rarely gives the guys who come in anything other than the most basic parts of the run game. Then once it gets too late he's out there...
You really think he could win at GT? I like Lane ok (mostly because he trash talks Bama), but nothing indicates that he could work at GT. He got UT to 8-4 (I think that was it without looking), then jetted to USC where he was fired. Did very well at Bama, then left to coach at FAU, where he...
We usually play at least 7 players on OL in a game. I don't think CPJ platoons a lot, but 3rd tackle/guard typically see a good bit of playing time during the year.
I don't understand why people are having a hard time understanding that the school cannot legally fund athletics. It's pretty simple, you cannot nor should you be able to use academics funding to pay for athletics and that does and should include student fees. Getting pissed at the school...
There's probably not a team in the country that has more than 1 scholly placekicker on the roster at one time (not counting the one year promotions of walk ons). PJ has pretty much always has WO/PWO that have been designated backups. That's about the best you can expect at this level.
Based on the fact that he has 1 year left. Wasn't a world beater at Rice (best year was 42 total tackles). We have some young fairly highly touted safeties and 1 returning senior starter. He could be great but chances are he would be added depth. He could come in and be great and fill Corey's...
What makes people think it's UGA? The tweet says G5 - UGA isn't a G5 team, and I can't think of a GT rival that is a G5 team. All of this is of course if KQ means G5 to be "group of 5" which is the MWC and CUSA of the world, not to be confused with the power 5.
I wasn't implying he would be fired. When he left Auburn he was supposed to go be a DC somewhere (I think maybe UCF for GOL), but before he even really got started he went to PSU for Bill O'Brien.
