The way Butch coaches usually to start the season Tennessee will play like they're lost most likely. With Tennessee losing two backup defensive lineman in an area that they have no depth anyway I think GT can upset them.

Two defensive linemen,Charles Mosley and Dimarya Nixon, are transferring from Tennessee. Their defensive line isn't going to be very deep at all.

I have a feeling in another two seasons Tennessee will be looking for another head basketball coach. Rick Barnes is 62 and I think the game has passed him by and he can't recruit very well at all at Tennessee. I think he'll retire rather than be fired.

Yeah UGAG lost to a 4-6 FSU team,6-4 Kentucky team and a 5-5-1 Auburn team that season. UGAG should have been 4-6 in 1965. Alabama was screwed on the Kirby Moore play when his knees were down in the 18-17 win by UGAG over Alabama and GT should have kicked the Dwags around at home.

Similar thing to the 1962 stinkeroo against FSU was the start of the 1965 season tying a 2-7-1 Vanderbilt team 10-10 and losing to a 3-7 Texas A&M team 14-10.

There was no way that GT should have tied a 4 win Florida State team in 1962. I think the 1962 Jackets should have with their talent have been no worse than 9-1. They very well could have beaten LSU and should have beaten 6-3-1 Auburn and 4-3-3 Florida State. GT should have been playing the 9-1...
