I just hate the way we deal with injuries on the OL. We scramble everyone around to positions they haven't practiced consistently and wonder why they don't have cohesion as a unit. Every year we do this. It's madness.

At this point this season: 1) godhigh 2) watts 3) jemea 4) smelter 5) young I don't understand people's attitudes towards Louis young, but I think he's better in coverage than jemea. Needs to wrap up on tackles and provide run support, but he's got tight coverage on most every play.

Let's be realistic. This is a message board, not a coaches meeting. No real solutions will be discovered here.

While I respect your opinion, Todd, it's on the coach to call the plays and I expect playcalling that reflects the strengths of our team. Last night, those strengths were not option out of the flexbone. If CPJ doesn't like that, fine... fix it in practice, but don't keep calling plays our guys...

This makes me a bit nervous. Starters: Thomas-Smith-Noble-Young-(White) Off the Bench: CB-White, L. Griffin S-C. Griffin, C. Carlson Pretty safe to say that if either of the safeties needs to be spelled, White will come in and we'll slide Thomas back.

Re-watched the game today. Came away more impressed with our defensive effort. Golden was out of position on a few plays, but our secondary locked down Duke. Jemea and Lou were able to get off blocks and defeat the bubble screens early and kind of took Duke out of their game and their receivers...
