Welp…..that didn’t take long. Announcers starting to gush about uga’s offense moving away from the narrative that FSU only has two starters left on defense.
I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but uga’s starting offense against FSU’s second string defense just isn’t the dramatic / magnificent...

We are in truly weird and strange times when it comes to getting teams motivated to play meaningless bowl games.
Reference to Norvell playing with “all these young pups getting a chance today.”
If they keep calling this game in a realistic way (with context) it will be only the low information fans who are idiotic enough to believe this game is any kind of referendum on FSU’s season or ability.
Agree that their second and third string players are overrated since that’s who’s playing today.
If Georgia doesn’t win by 6 touchdowns it will DEFINITELY prove they were overrated.
🤣
My preference would be for both teams to take a knee.
But I’m getting the feeling uga is approaching this game seriously. I guess Kirby Smart figured out the right things to say to his team to make them care. That’s some powerful mojo to overcome the failure to threepeat.
FSU and uga face off today in a game that pits two teams deeply disappointed in how their seasons ended. Admittedly, FSU is the more bitterly disappointed team since they did everything necessary to get invited to the Big Dance but ran into the propaganda buzz saw that is the ESPN/SEC...
On point. People need to remember how many games the “experts” said CPJ would win in 2008. The fact that he blew those predictions out of the water speaks volumes about how quickly some coaches can convert a team to their system.
CGC poor mouthed the talent he inherited so much that one...
Only in bowl games apparently. But, seriously, what is it with teams not showing up for bowl games and players opting out or phoning it in. I’ve seen a little of this in the past but not the wholesale decimation I’ve seen this year. It’s a brave new world.
When I played Gray-Y (I think it was called) football in a Dekalb County elementary school (called grammar school) our coach did the same at our year end banquet only it was Tech beating uga.
As amazing as it is that it took the players six months to figure out MoBS, it is still even more amazing that 3 years after his hire people were still quoting his BS about CPJ leaving the team bereft and an offensive line that weighed 260.
What an amazing debacle this period was for Tech...
Since I have watched zero bowl games, other than Tech, I’m glad you guys are throwing yourselves on all these grenades so I can hear about the outcomes.
