Consider this, GT has three teams from that list on their schedule this year alone. Betting that UGA and CU will be ranked. Pitt will need to pull out some magic to split with OSU and PSU.
Several times actually. Long run in the Duke game until he pulled up and grabbed his hammy. Same thing in the bowl game against Kentucky. He OUT RAN people until his hammy gave him issues and that was in pads in game trying to avoid getting tackled. I fully expect his times to be 4.3-4.4 max at...
Ah ok, so we can completely disregard what you said. It is your opinion, which no standards of speed were ever defined off of. Now JT may have dropped some speed down to a true 4.3 40 time only because he gained muscle mass.
You are seriously wrong. From our own Ramblin Wreck site: http://www.ramblinwreck.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/081313aab.html
"4.21 - His time in the 40
10.79: His State-winning time in the 4A-6A 100 meters as a senior"
Where'd you get your info, lol? Remember he was a 100M state track champion in Alabama so speed and acceleration are his high point, especially considering the other athletes he competed against.
I had started a thread on another board titled 'Could Justin Thomas be Steve Smith 2.0?' Smith was a dominate receiver at any position he played in offense but he was particularly adept at the slot and even was quoted as saying her preferred playing slot. My comparison was based upon the fact...
Yeah we kinda have experience in this arena recently with Shamire Devine. Great big ole player but he has been injured and not played every down. The other thing to consider is look at Arkansas. They have or now HAD, after what UGA pulled, the largest O-line in all of football, pro and college...
From what Solomon and other recruits have said is they are trying to create an atmosphere of "come play with your boys from middle/ high school and win and NC and go pro." That usually ends up with guys getting arrested though. Only time will tell on that front.
I am ok with this for two reasons, 1) running a similar D to what our in city pro team runs shows influence ( in a good way mind you) from the pros to the college ranks and it could lead to a pipeline of players from GT going to the Falcons (if the D is sound and produces results) and 2) This D...
Yes, thanks to Tom Herman as mentioned above. He is the first 5-star athlete to spurn a P5 offer for a G5 offer. I bet if Herman had stayed he would not be the only one there.
Well they also have a stud 5-star freshmen on the DL who was giving the mediocre at best UL OL fits all night. 11 sacks by your OL is just unexcusable. Hopefully our D becomes this effective.
That was awesome! Thanks for posting that! He reps the ACC, GT, Falcons, Atlanta for football and life and work and then you get to see him as a sports fan. That is really really awesome to see a different side of this guy. Wish he could put a good word in for the hawaiians!
So these guys get what 3-5 practices in a week to prep for these games??? For him to be able to take direction in a different scheme than what he played in while at GT it concerns me with the coaching our D-line is receiving. Two sacks and two tackles for loss is a STRONG day especially...
Apparently he is taking 21hrs. to finish this spring. He will have two years of football eligibility left. We need to have like a 'ten year time capsule' thread for him for 10yrs from now. Sky is the limit with that kind of motivation.
