It is hard to see how seven on seven would provide an accurate assessment of out offense. while I wonder what the specifics are behind the "the defensive secondary shined for the Panthers" statement. It is hard not to think that criticizing our passing is like criticizing Shaquille O Neal's free...
Can't wait to hear what CPJ says about him after seeing him in practice but all the speculation here (both pro and con) is just that and I think I have had enough of it.
This is well deserved. It is hard to see how you can be both such an excellent student and player but obviously he comes from great stock having such great role models for parents.
Also well deserved were all the UGAG players named! The hard work put into those "learning to read" and...
Last year Wofford had scored 9 and had several good drives by halftime and Tulane had 21 by halftime. So what I will be looking for this year is to see if we can largely shut down Alcorn State and Tulane offensively all game (except maybe mop up). I hope we will have many games this year where...
They just had a 4 star redshirt fresh QB leave the team after apparently having difficulty breaking into the 2 deep. Despite their pickup up 4 star Lambert from UVA our JeT/,TB combo will be far better than whta they willput on the field...
While I am comfortable with having such a rule, another concern may be that such activities are rarely done alone. At least that is what people have told me.
The fact that JTquarterbacks TECH also may help him. If he and TECH start strong this year, then a great case can be made for the fact that he is the primary factor taking TECH to a new level. Additionally the "high school offense that no one can stop" makes for great press. JT is unique and the...
Probably because they want 15+ passes thrown to them per game like they enjoyed in high school. If their focus in on personal stats, they must be our top receiver and even then they won't see the ball as much as in another offense.
LSU is one of the worst. A friend played db for Miss State in the early 70's and said they wouldn't sit on the bench because some fans would throw whiskey bottles so they wanted to be as far away as possible. I still remember climbing up the old railroad trestle in Athens to watch the Tech-mutt...
Times have changed. As a boy from Savannah in the 60's that was able to attend but a single game each year, Atlanta was a far away exotic place that had a blue domed restaurant that rotated in the sky amongst skyscrapers! Peering though the windows of the bus I would sometimes see it and also...
I'm 58 and from Savannah Ga. My dad was somewhat of a self taught salesman/engineer who loved Tech. He would design systems as a value add in order to sell the parts needed (bearings/drives etc). His boss was a Tech grad who once a year would take his entire company, their sons and a couple...
Jabari and Gotsis anchoring the interior of Tech's defensive line! This should also help make our secondary even stronger. Makes me wonder if Tech will have 2 def linemen drafted next year :) That would certainly be a change from recent years!
Wish Kallon had been mentioned but good to hear that Gamble and Rook-Chungong are so much better. Add in Whitehead etc and we should be better up front. Hopefully their improvement will also help the o-line get better as well.
