    lack of passing game

    Nice post, forensic. Lays out some reasons why kids (or anyone else) would rather play in something besides the TO.

    Joshua Nesbitt-Married

    If GTAA has any sense, they will present the Nesbitt's firstborn son with an athletic scholarship before he leaves the hospital.

    Spring game likely to stay on Friday

    Dunno if this is really such a good idea. If I were an Atlanta-area resident, I'd much rather come to midtown on Saturday than deal with Friday drive time traffic. I hope the GTAA marketing folks have a better feel for fan sentiment than I do.

    lack of passing game

    So how has our recruiting gone since our 2009 ACC championship and Orange Bowl appearance? So-so. Why? The school's tough and the offense is not attractive. The limited cirriculum and administrative indifference to football success are big enough hurdles, and the CPJ offense has turned out...

    lack of passing game

    Geez, I'm tired of CPJ's offense. You need balance - multiple credible threats for the defense to worry about. The passing game gives you a credible downfield threat you just don't have in our offense unless you entice a BayBay-caliber WR to come play for us.

    Saturday Scrimmage OPEN

    Good sports day on the flats. Football scrimmage in the morning, followed by baseball vs FSU. Come on, people, DVR the Masters and get down to midtown. Wish I lived in the area.

    For this season to be a success what record do we need?

    I'll take 9 wins in the regular season as my threshhold for success. Considering all the new faces in the starting lineup, that may not be realistic, but three relatively easy games to start the season give the new starters time to settle in.

    Kuch channeled me when he drowned his approach shot on 18.

    Just Saw this Online -- GT vs Clemp's sin, 2009

    Abso-effin-lutely. You knew - you just knew - that if it came down to us needing 6 on our last possession, JN and da boyz would come through. I want that feeling again. I used to live 5-10 north of the New Sombrero in Tampa, so I went to that game prepared for the weather. Plenty of...

    ACC in the NCAA

    What happened to those guys? They were 21-0 then melted down faster than an icecube in the oven.

    Spring practice opens tomorrow

    And Dodd looked down from Heaven, saw the belly series, and saw that it was good. And the morning and the evening were the first day. Hallelujah!!

    ACC in the NCAA

    It doesn't reflect well on the ACC for the Dookies to go out early, but I'm still chucking about it. Yo, Coach K, how d'ya like it when you don't get most of the close calls?

    @UNC Series

    This team shrugs off mistakes and failures as well as any baseball team I've seen in a while. This is not a quality I'd say some of our more highly touted squads have showed in the past. Am I just wearing my gold-colored glasses, or is there something different about this bunch?

    @UNC Series

    I'm beginning to like these guys. They may screw up, but they sure as Hell don't give up.

    Craig Neal

    Seriously, if we had a choice: keep CBG or bring Noodles back home, is there anyone outside the Brian Gregory family who would say no?

    Yes, you have a point. GT football, like Guinness, is an acquired taste.

    Golden gets Medical Redshirt

    Two good news stories in one week! First more admission exceptions, now Golden gets another year. But I'm just perverse enough to start wondering what torment the Football Gods have in store, now that our hopes have been raised.

    A terrible day turned into a great day

    A young lady with this much drive and ability can't get into GT because of a damn SAT score? Another reason to wonder what those people on the Hill are thinking.

    Wake Series

    Geez. A difficult football campaign, another lackluster hoops season, and it looks like baseball will offer no relief. What do we do, go watch the golf team?
