He coached the team last year when Temple BEAT Maryland. He’s your coach NOW and will be for at minimum the next 5 YEARS. If you don’t like it follow Army or a service academy of your choice.
The team is losing OLinemen. That hurts. That hurts a lot. CDP is not helping tho. This is a running team. Run the damn ball and then hit them with the play action until they stop it.
He owned it. Good. Now prove you can coach. I can take a loss but this loss was unacceptable.
Not jumping ship. Just making a critique. This was a bad day for coach.
1. Find an identity on O and stick with it. The flip flopping qb’s is costing cohesiveness. That said LJ has not been impressive at all. Mason should touch the rock 20 times each game. Where are the quick hitters and...
That was poor coaching.
Especially going with LJ at the end. TO was moving the ball with ease. The O ain’t ready for the passing game. Don’t force it.
Defensively I understand but all the damn personal foul penalties.
With that display last week may be the only win.
Temple lost a season with the waffling of qb’s and lost two games the season after with a decision to start a qb CDP liked. I hope this isn’t a pattern.
My issues.
I’m not seeing these specialized plays per qb.
a. Screens
b. Quick slants
c. The RPO’s
Where is the creativity?
You have dynamic qb’s be creative with the O. Idk I just don’t see the creativity.
I watched Maryland vs Syracuse and one thing really stuck out to me. Maryland has a new HC & OC but that offense looks like a well oiled machine. Now I realize that transition is not the same but you tell me Coach can’t put an offense together to max JG’s skills. Does the team have that many holes?
