There are 11 remaining games on the schedule. Realistically UGA is out of reach. The coastal games we should have a punchers chance or a push in all of them. NCSU may be out of reach. USF and Temple are beatable along with the other gimme. Don't understand all this talk about how much better the...
Wtf are you talking about? Nebraska got greedy and fired coaches because they could not win national championships like Osborne. It wasn't that they went away from the option that hurt the program it's that they made crap hires in between solid coaches, e.g. Callahan and Riley.
5 is 2 less than last year. Schedule isn't that different. This staff should be able to pull out 5 wins - anything less is a disappointment, anything more is a bonus. 3 wins is not a very good coaching job. Either way (3 or 5/6 wins) no matter the results this year not sure it says much about...
He did. Ironically though, Venables wasn't great at OU - at least not like he has been at Clemson. I remember when he was hired I didn't think it was much of an upgrade. Although Steele was terrible at Clemson, he has been good at AU. Go figure.
We should win the next 3. I'm not sure where this 3 wins crap is coming from. 5 should be the floor. It's not like this roster didn't win 7 with almost the exact schedule last year.
We will see. I don't think our run game is as good this year either, but we could be. I generally think Wisconsin would do to us what they're doing to USF. I hope to heck we boatrace them - we should be capable of doing it.
Which is why it should be done on the OL, DL and LB only and should only be done across 2 deep. Then see if we're 115. Very well could be, but as it sits - meaningless.
It depends on how they did it. A lot of teams will have 6-7 TEs on the roster. Either way, sheer mass across the roster is meaningless. Do you think we have the 115th best talent?
Why would you believe it? Just go watch the tape - he's been a coordinator for a lot of years, it's all he has ever run.
In general I am ok with it. I actually do NOT want what a traditional NFL offense is. What I prefer is someone who is different or innovative in some way. That doesn't always...
Did you actually believe the pro-style marketing? Patenaude has always run the generic college spread wherever he's been. That's all he runs. The only thing different is that you may see his offense look more similar to Clemson's when Gleason gets here. You will not see any under center sets...
