I agree. I think this is the main reason that CPJ started keeping JT in on the goal line more than anything. You still have the up-the-gut (thanks to the O-line) but you also can use JT's speed on the edge if you catch the D napping.

The caller just asked where they had us ranked, they hemmed and hawed for a second before saying '20'. The caller seemed like he was about to pursue it but didn't - he just pointed out that they were going on about qb play and he thought JT was one of the best returning qbs. I could've read it...

I can't speak for all trainers, but since I was a student trainer under Jay Shoop I can tell you that he definitely is trying to expand his knowledge. I also know one of the other staff trainers and he has that same mindset. They're not going to just jump on the new hot thing without some...
