Coaching. Watch what Wake is doing with 2 stars and a few 3 star players. Very few missed tackles and db’s in position to prevent big plays. Creative offensive game plan.
Our recruiting is better but it can’t compensate for poor coaching
I see a lot of comments about being able to run up the middle but I think being able to hit a tight end or slot back across the middle for 3rd and long plays is critical. A well thrown ball zipped to a narrow window is hard to do but can be incredibly difficult for a linebacker to defend if the...
Sorry - Nicholas is correct. But any well timed steady rain would work. If both teams are one dimensional , our RB’s and an occasional well thrown ball to a slot receiver may help us keep it close. And JT seems to be just as accurate as Clemsons ukulele on the latter. I left the spelling...
There is one way that we keep it close and possibly even win. If the remains of Mindy settle over clemson on Saturday and it becomes a monsoon mudfest where no one can throw, perhaps we get a couple more fumbles due to our penchant for ripping balls free. One of our talented runnings backs...
Truly a shame he got hurt last year - he is is already at an NFL level. The separation between Gibbs and everyone else is amazing and indicates what an elite RB he is.
I also use sling which has the ACC and SEC networks along with Espn 3. I assume you were using a vpn when noted logging into a nyc server for local blackouts on espn3. I spend the $30/month for 3 months for football and then drop the service until next fall. Vpn’s are cheap - but since they...
I hear a lot about how Louisville is a bad team. I went back and looked at the box score for the Miami game they lost 47-34. They had 3 to’s to 0 for Miami and outgained them 516 to 485. Sounds familiar.
For watching GT football one of the best streaming services is Sling. I have a three month month promotion pack where are you get the sling orange plu sports extra for $30 a month for three months comes with the ACC network,ESPN3, SEC network - pretty much whatever you need to get you through...
Good article from AJC on why he called it quits. The young man has his priorities right - wish him the very best in life and thanks for being a great representative for GT football...
We’ll see
Robert Binion of From The Rumble Seat said on our podcast this week that Jordan Mason, Tech’s top running back last season, reportedly suffered a broken foot in the late stages of the FSU game and is ostensibly out for a while.

My favorite pass only went 10 yards - it was perfectly thrown gently over a defensive end and dropped in the receiver’s (RB?) hands. Something we seem to have been unable to do for years.
I knew we were young but this espn story and ranking really nails it. Tech is #2 in returning production from 2019.
