The problem is you can be looking at what you're tackling, but you need to get low to get leverage and to wrap up. All it takes for you to get called is for the ball carrier to put their head down even with yours and boom it's helmet to helmet contact even though you were just trying to wrap up.
I like the yellow card/red card system. 5 yards and a warning for inadvertent contact. If the same player does so again it's the 15 and disqualification. If it's obvious then it's instantly the 15 yard variety.
Kelly is going to get paid big bucks if he stays healthy. He's what turned the game around against us. Doesn't go down with first contact and has the speed to go with it.
I would love Michigan in a bowl watching the way they defended the option against Air Force. Air Force was a step too slow on a lot of plays from putting up a track meet on them with their blocking.
Notre Dame is looking like a overated team as usual that would finish middle of the pack if they were actually in an ACC division. So much for the Dwags big win.
Look like Tennessee used up all it's juju against us. Dormady is now where near as accurate as he was against us in the 2nd half...
OK State / OU might be one of the best games of the year, and they'll probably play again in the conference championship game a couple weeks later.
Pitt just looks lost. They can get pass rush, but the secondary can't tackle or cover. They're giving up the middle for easy rushes trying to get...
We'd apply for an exception and if there weren't enough 6-6 or better teams for bowls we'd get one. We should also be high up if it came down to apr ranking.
I follow the BIG 12 since my dad raised me rooting for Oklahoma. Oklahoma State is a better team than last year and they beat Pitt by a score at home. On the other hand I think Pitt is worse than last year so I would say 10 points is about right.

On Wednesday, Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson appeared to call UCF out for declining their offer of playing Saturday's game in Atlanta.
"Realistically to prepare for a game, we practice Monday, Tuesday and...
Came out with no injuries and held them to 0 yards. Best the defense has ever looked. Worried about the offense though, putting up 0 yards against a non p5 team is worrying. That should cover the basics.
