Is the Greatest Generation the greatest?

The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents...

Per the Ajc: CPJ working through contract extension through 2022

Guess we'll know based on what the buyout is. If Stansbury is smart it won't go up much.

Per the Ajc: CPJ working through contract extension through 2022

You have to have a contract long enough for the kids you're recruiting to feel you'll be there when they graduate or you're dead in water recruiting.

Some of you guys are not religious

Team that graduated 84% of their 2011 signing class > Team that graduated 53%. I'll always root for preparing these kids for life after football.

    UVA vs. Navy

Reminds me of the sack that got Gotsis thrown out.

    UVA vs. Navy

Navy's 3O makes ours look like we're the G5 team running it. They execute the blocks, reads, and movement so much better than we do.

    12-0 baby....

I think the ACC goes 1-1 today. Both the games are tossups in my mind will probably depend on who shows up mentally and early bowl game breaks.

    2018 schedule

Eww that stretch of Miami, Clemson, VaTech will be rough. Physically on the players and mentally on the fan based if we can't pull 2 of the games out. I do like getting Louisville early though. Their whole offense the last two years has revolved around Jackson making plays with his legs.

    Jay Jones Transferring

Rumored that he was struggling with the academic portion. Hope he finds the answers he's looking for. Best of luck

    Scheduling

Yep, there is zero incentive besides ticket sales for the team to schedule anybody from another P5 conference. Should schedule FCS, and two crappy G5 team every year to pad the record and rest players.

    Wisconsin

Depends on which GT showed up. It was early in the year where it seemed like the team was still pushing and tackling well. They only beat Navy 31-21 with Navys QB going out of the game when the game was tied 14 all

    Wisconsin

According to Sagarin Wisconsin has played the 61st hardest schedule compared to our 8th. I could very easily see Tech this year going 9-3 or so with their schedule. The rest is luck and we didn't have any with tipped passes, field goals that hit both uprights and go in, ect.

    Roof

Hey it's a good pick. I also like Alex Grinch from Washington State. Leach has always had a problem having a consistent defense. My off the wall young guy to grab would be Danny Gonzales from San Diego State. He's in his first year as a defensive coordinator, but has done a helluva a job.

    Roof

So now can we get back to the topic that this post was made for? If roof is gone who should we go grab? I said it early, but I think Chad Glasgow from TCU would be a good grab. From what I can tell from some googling he makes less than Roof and TCU runs a good defense against very explosive...

Reading through this has been entertaining, but man I've never seen goal posts moved so much when questions get answered.

    Have to Step Up!!

I really hope we have some guys step up inside so Branch can slide back outside. He did a hell of a job in the middle, but his natural spot is on the end. If we can start Branch, Cerge-Henderson, Adams, Saint-Amour and have some depth behind them we might finally be in good shape on the Dline.

    CPJ needs to be fired

There's no way our offensive line was even 80% for the last two games. Cooper, Bryan, Braun played almost every single snap all year long without much of a break. Others would get injured and come back to games where they had to take 100% of the snaps because there was no relief behind them. We...
