I yearn for the days before the internet and before every person had a megaphone to whine and gripe to the heavens and we all just went out on Saturdays and cheered the boys in white and gold - even in the wretched years of the Bill's (Curry and L&&&s) when we won only ONE game a year.

Well I've been a very strong Tech fan since about 1954 and I just don't understand fans that exult in down grading their team to the hilt but thanks for reminding me of the IGNORE button.

If we had swapped ND and CU for WF, Liberty, or possibly UVA, I honestly think we had a good chance to win, at least toss-ups, and not sure slaughters. If you don't see that, I think you are just a very negative fan.

Disagree bigly with this. NCSU is not that much better than the Jackets. Had they played Clemson and Notre Dame as Tech has, they would only have one more win. They have not beaten a good team yet this year. Lost to the only three decent teams they've played.

Hang on hard, AlabamaBuzz. Use this circumstance to draw closer to your spiritual side and try to shut out the negatives. That's what I'm working hard to do. We need to all remember that as bad as this BS is, "It has not come to stay, it has come to pass", and it will!

Here is something that I may have been missed in this thread and I was thinking of starting a new thread, but... Six teams (BC,WF,Pitt,GT,FSU,Syr.) play both Notre Dame and Cemson. Six teams (UM,UNC,VT,UVA,Lville,Duke) play only one, Notre Dame or Clemson. ONLY ONE TEAM (NC State) plays...

I triple dog, 180 degree disagree with this. I don't possibly see how you can say this. The ACC was stupid enough to give them an entire schedule without an agreement they were going to join the league. HOW F..KING STUPID!!!!! WHY GIVE THEM A SCHEDULE AND POSSIBLE TRIP TO CHAMPIONSHIP...

The recruiting season is not nearly over with several months to go. They have us ranked number 27 behind Pitt at number 22 who is only .01 point average and one man more committed than GT. What a negative freaking bunch. Sheesh!

Maybe a close second would be a "fan" ElCid...
