Remembering back to my days of hiring and firing I recall that the person I hired was someone I felt I could work with and establish a close relationship.
I suspect this is the case with Pastner and his staff. The staff basically will be living together for a few years.

You have two guys most of us have been recommending and both appear to be begging for a GT job. Heady atmosphere!
Pastner has an opportunity to build something special at Tech.
My guess, and it is a guess, is that the hold up is waiting to nail down the "associate head coach" before hiring the top "assistant head coach".
Doing it by the book, so to speak. I say screw the book! The best HS coach in the nation is begging for a job!

Would Flint be content as an assistant after 20 years as the head man. Believe he as an assistant at UMass under Calipari so there is that connection
between Pastner and Flint. Calipari would recommend for sure.
I dropped golf in 1965, so I might qualify. But, then, one of my big "flaws", so I have been told, is that I am also a control freak, so Pastner and I could never work together.
The staff news is deathly quiet. The rumor mill has closed down also. Good signs or bad signs?
