Some observations.
TQM seems to throw better when he sets his feet. A lot better in the 10-15 yard range then deep. A lot of over throws early but seemed to settle during the passing drive in the 3rd.
Bbacks - Mason looks great. Benson is a tank. Howard looks good, but needs to make his blocks...
CPJ talking about rotating 9 guys on the Oline. Lee said in his interview that he loved playing center and didn't want to go back to tackle, but would if he's asked. Lee biggest problem has always been getting of the ball a hair too fast so him at center will take away his once or twice a game...
Our backfield is looking scary. Benson, Howard, and Mason at Bback. Rumor has it that Mason also has really good hands so maybe a threat in on the bback wheel route that Longestday loves. Searcy, Lynch and Cottrell at A. CPJ also talking about rotating 9 OL in games we are going to flat wear...
We hire Lane Kiffin who hired Kendal Briles after all that crap at Baylor my checks will stop and I'll stop supporting the team. We don't want that stain anywhere near our program.
Eh, he said if it's a guy like Parker Braun who is never late to anything and always does what he's supposed to he'll be willing to consider letting it go, but a guy who has like 20 he'd enforce the rules in the press conference.
Agreed it's worth the subscription even if you just do a one month one to try it out. Lots of interesting info about depth at all the positions. Kelly puts a lot of effort into his war room posts and it shows.
Copying my post from the pay site where I was challenged to post my win percentage for each game since I was predicting a 9 win season
Alcorn State - 0.99
USF - 0.80 They've lost a lot and haven't done well defensively against Navy the last two times they played them.
Pitt - 0.70 - Basically...
It's a huge deal. The mesh between the qb and bback has a lot of chemistry involved. Smoother mesh means hitting the hole or rolling outside a hair quicker.
https://929thegame.radio.com/media/audio-channel/tms-techs-paul-johnson-looking-forward-2018-season-if-we-can-stay-healthy-we at the 29 minute mark.
- Final Scrimmage today (Friday) divide the team against scouts and dress out team. Trying to anything that can happen in a game onside kicks ect...
Carney/Fox are the starting DEs
Corrales is a backup WR
Surratt was going to lose the QB competition
Tucker is the backup RT
Johnson/Davidson are walkons and the others are all 3rd string
Pulled from reddit thread on the subject. Though some are saying Surratt was rumored to lose the QB...
Haven't really seen anything to know about his talent, but a veteran safety pick up is huge. Even if he doesn't start having a backup who knows the style coming from Wofford and working with Shiel Wood is huge.
