    Marcus Marshall Transferring

Its pointless to argue who is better. That's really not the point. The point is that contributing players consistently (and voluntarily) leave our program. Every starter on that list was dismissed.

    Marcus Marshall Transferring

Wrong again. Name the starters and leading players that left voluntarily on those teams.

    Marcus Marshall Transferring

Thanks? I challenge you to find a team with a similar exodus, I couldn't. Remember how big of a deal it was when A&M lost their QB and Tennessee lost theirs? Its like that, but we've lost more and at more positions. Glad you think this is normal attrition, but you're wrong. Even if you find...

    Marcus Marshall Transferring

I disagree. In four years we've lost: A starting QB A starting WR A starting RB Two potential starting LBers These are voluntary transfers by the way, I'm not counting those that have to transfer.

    Marcus Marshall Transferring

This is unreal. Marshall Dawg family getting in his ear. Its amazing Keith stuck around at UGA the entire time, but Marcus is out after leading our team in rushing two consecutive years. I've said it elsewhere, but this is a horrible trend under CPJ. Too many starters and contributors are...

    2017 roster/depth

Wow we have a weird history of players (that contribute) quitting. Not only quitting, but quitting mid season. If this is true, this seems to have become a theme and a problem in my opinion. We don't have the depth and talent to say "next man up" without significant drop off. He was our...

I'd hate to be our next opponent

He was fired up because Lynch tried to cut back inside (which caused the slip) when he should've raced to the sideline and gained a few more yards.

    Marcus Marshall

i feel like we have an unusually high amount of players that contribute, and start, that elect to transfer. Mike Summers from last year, as the most recent example...but also Beau Hankins and Anthony Harrell as well. Very frustrating, especially after a decent season and hopefully momentum going...

    Hey, Brendan Douglas

-Had a great day against Florida a couple years ago when all their starters went down. He's a hard runner, feel free to google him. -It's not about decommitting, it's about doing it at the last moment to our rivals. But again, it's not a big deal. People are just having fun with it, relax.

    Hey, Brendan Douglas

He's playing behind two of the best backs in the country. Now I'm not saying he'd be a world beater for us but he's a really tough runner and would've been a good bback (especially last year). I guarantee if we had him, you'd be happier with a 5th year Marshall or mills. But I digress, no need...

Haha, and there you have it. That's pretty funny. But yea, my whole point is that making at a level that these guys are playing at takes far more than "he's a great athlete", it takes insane dedication and focus on one sport. The fact that some guys can do it, like smelter, is an extreme...

    Future looks bright!!

Jordan has held up well. He's a 3rd year so he should know his way around. Let's be honest though, we're in this game due to defense, turnovers, and a few breaks on penalties. Love his fight though (needs to be comfortable on the read pitch though)

Sorry I meant he doesn't think cpj is the right fit. If he's thinking cpj may be leaving, Hes not going to take a hit firing and hiring a new dc and staff that will get blown away anyway next year.

    UNC Postgame

We aren't getting another dc. The ad won't allow it. Cpj has two years left. He may be gone after this year. He had a great run here at tech, but despite the great years he'll forever be known as a coach who couldn't find the right dc. What a shame. A former player and booster mentioned during...

dude, yes, if you went back in time you could say if lots of these kids focused on other sports maybe they could play other sports st the same level. I completely disagree that getting a scholarship for football isn't easier than basketball. But that's my opinion based on the people I played...

85 scholarship athletes on a football team 13 scholarship athletes on a basketball team What about watching Brad Stewart play wide receiver in college makes you, me, or anyone else think he's a 1 in a 500,000 (maybe million?) athlete? He doesn't dominate games, he's not as good as Smelter's...

I can't comment on Baseball, but in regards to basketball? Um, no he couldn't. Maybe he could walk on at Tech for basketball, but no he'd never see any real minutes. Basketball is the hardest major sport to ever see live action in a game. Every high school in the country has a basketball team...
