I just want people to vote. Being neither an elephant nor a donkey, I want people to understand that the place to change the government is at the polls not in the streets. I just hope people also understand that not getting what you want at the polls is also an acceptable outcome.
Tech's big-dollar donors are very different than the UGA big-dollar donors. They aren't going to have any problem with the 'look' and good riddance if they do. There's a school in Athens where they'd fit in better.
Unfortunately, I have 2 tickets for sale this weekend.
I'll sell here for face value $125 and you get the cushy seats for free!
Section 105, Row 8, Seats 19 & 20.
West stands, about the 44-yard line (south) near a bunch of great Tech fans.
:bigtears:
I disagree. Our play calling is slow, predictable and fails to take advantage of a super-aggressive upfield push by their d-ends. We ran the same bad play on third down to poor results (you did see our third-down conversion rate, right?) How can you possibly say he called a good game? o_O Maybe...
What you do is call something. Pnode couldn't even get plays in quickly when it mattered late in the fourth.
He's so over his head I think I could call a better game. I'd at least call a terrible game just like him with more pace and urgency. He might have done well against FCS defensive...
It's weird, but it sure seems like we put a disproportionate number of WR's in the league compared to all other positions...and that coming from an option team. I guess it is just the 'full moon effect', but it sure seems like it without doing any real analysis.
I don't want to come across the wrong way here, as I'm not being snide. I really just want to understand. So why do people continue to repeat the obvious...that if we won people would say nicer things about us?
Wanting to associate with winners is expected and natural human nature. There is...
When you are losing to the Citadel but are more concerned with the beat than getting beat, then it's a really bad look. Get your head in the game and celebrate when you've earned it. I guess I'm just an old-fart. But whatever.
Everyone under 30 swears they'll never live in the burbs, either. Wait until you are stuck in 75 minutes of traffic every morning and evening. Things change.
