  1. Paul Johnson time frame.

Because the other scheme usually wins, attracts better recruits?
  2. Gameday !!!!!!!!

Not sure about this game tonight, gonna be tuff at Lane Stadium. I still maintain 6&6 for the year, but that might be enough for a bowl bid.
  3. No one out for VT, TM will start

Bingo! When johnson first came on the scene most of us gave him an attaboy when dealing with the media. Now TV/radio/newspaper don't want to deal with his smart_ _ _answers. It came back to hurt Tech's image and now we see & hear nothing re: Tech sports.
  4. The Next realignment

If Tech dropped to the academic division ( since they would not be able to afford paying the players) you would probably not be interested in going to games after a few years of playing BG/Syracuse/WF/Duke etc: These games would not be televised either.
  5. Recruiting analysis

I'm glad you mentioned the Purdue game! They were a 3&3 team playing the mighty Buckeyes. Purdue had a game plan offensively&defensively , a wellcoached team and stuck with the plan.As far as I know they had no 5 star players and I highly doubt they recruit any slackers. It can also be done at...
  6. Highly Unlikely - but what if CPJ hired an OC?

You don't know johnson. It's all about him & the TO and being the offensive genius that he thinks he is!
  7. Paul Johnson time frame.

I believe our fans have more power than they think. Just email T. Stan and say unless there is a coaching change for 2019 I will not buy my usual season tickets.
  8. Athletic Director's Update

Certainly a different viewpoint, but right on target! Johnson is the abusive boyfriend, our fans and some posters are the girl! She says "but if I leave him what if I can't find another boyfriend? Her smart friends say "you will, you will".
  9. Is Georgia Tech football in better spot today (2018) than when you started 2008?

First opportunity I've had to read your post. In short, excellent information. Swarmers should appreciate (agree or not) with the time you spent putting this info together.
  10. Wanting to go to first Tech game this weekend !!!

If you're buying on line printed tix look at them closely.
  11. Is Georgia Tech football in better spot today (2018) than when you started 2008?

In truth the program is only treading water, and has been for the past 3-4 seasons. Our ACC competition for the most part is getting better with recruiting and coaching. T. Stan I believe is an upgrade over the last few A.D's and has a vision for Tech athletics. The fan base is ready and willing...
  12. Blue. Pants.

But, it's the fans & the 60 year olds that have the money! just saying..
  13. Paul Johnson time frame.

When PJ first arrived, Tech had, imo an excellent DC, he chose not to keep him simply because he had a stronger personality that PJ couldn't deal with. Tech will always be on the short side when it comes to money, can't really say why that is ,except most Tech grads keep it in their pockets.
  14. Interesting NCAA stats, updated for 10/1

Offense may have never been the issue, but the most important issue with any team is #of wins. We're certainly lacking there.
  15. Athletic Director's Update

Excellent post.Should cause PJ backers to reconsider how great a coach they think he is! But, they won't!
  16. Up Next Louisville

Having watched Tech defenses in the past, they seem to have troubles with mobile QB's. Ihave not seen their QB in action, hope he's a stay in the pocket guy.
  17. Bowling Green Postgame

Agreed, so let's go out play our ACC schedule, keep ugag, drop the 2 FCS opponents, schedule 2 P5 teams instead, get good are go home.
  18. Bowling Green Postgame

Why not just drop down to FCS level, then you wouldn't have to be concerned about Clemson,Miami,UGA. No problems,no bowls.
  19. Bowling Green Postgame

Be very careful reading too much into this game. Tech paid $900,000 to BG to come down and get beat up.
  20. Up Next Louisville

I think Louisville's speed is going to cause Tech trouble offensively & defensively.
