Seven Tech players entered the Valspar. All the Tech players were supposed to wear a purple ribbon in support for a sister of a Tech player who died of ovarian cancer. A terrific idea, unfortunately only 2 made the cut, Castro & Haddley. Wish they could have done better.

Just damn, that is still too much money, but if he could turn it around in 2 years Tech would be sitting pretty good. In any event, thanks for the good info.

Absolutely the best action is to keep JP. He only has 2 seasons left on his contract ( I think ), Tech will probably get hit for at least 2 years probation/ recruiting and post season play.So let him figure out how to survive for 2 more years, or resign with no payout.

I'm with you on this one. Let's face facts, GT just doesn't know how to play the GAME! Tech will roll over and take it up the wazoo and apologize to the the NCAA and say it won't happen again! They just don't have the " street smarts".

I was certainly disappointed with this game, maybe the players figured out that you have to go all out for 40 minutes. It almost went without notice the foul Alston comitted on Lazewski. The undercut seemed deliberate, but he got away with it. Didn't like that at all from a Tech player, JMO.

I really hope that T.S. and Tech's lawyers have their A game ready. It always seems that Tech gets caught "with their pants down" by not knowing all the angles in this kind od situation.

I will also add, any kind of marketing and media coverage will beat what we have had for the past 11 years.

Have to disagree with you here. The only time Cole & Wright should ever see the floor is during mop up time with a 15 pt. lead.

Been to every ACC home game this season, seen some terrible games and a few good games, but the clemson game was the worst! The line up never meshed, no team unity. Offensive & defensive rebounding , none. One shot and fall back on D, lazy passing led to turnovers, work your way under the basket...

Something happened during the runup to that bowl and during the game. PJ thought he had the team with him, most of the starters had other thoughts. PB said to himself, I don't need this s_ _ _ !

Noticed that too P36. When I saw him go into the game , I turned to my wife and said "oh hell, here comes Wright". But, a terrfic win for the team anyway!

Well, as for me, not all the memories were great.But, since you liked PJ alot I like you're attitude re: the new staff! If CJC is close to being a Dabo were in terrific shape!

I don't want Wright anywhere on the floor, he's a liability in my opinion.
