Ok so this 11" doesn't seem very large to me then. Hearing that Big Darren Wallers hands are only 9 and some change is weird. I haven't measured mine with a ruler but just guessing they are over 9" for sure. I'm about 6'1.
I think they do both. But the listed 11" is from wrist to index finger I believe. If it's from pinky to thumb my hands are over 9" and that just doesn't seem correct
Thank you for explaining that to him. There's absolutely no comparison to be made. Bragging on 1 good win a year is ridiculous.. and yes that UM team was pretty good, but they weren't Duke or UNC or UVA.
I like everything you've had to say and it sounds nice, but you can't compare the 2 sports. CPJ has never had a losing conference record and has won the conference or played for the championship a few times. Beat UGA. Totally different. Under CBG we've done absolutely nothing. No improvement in...
I agree 100%. Very similar. Miami had a better team IMO but a ton of similarities. I could see them blowing us out Like UNC... Just on athletic ability alone. Or... we can man up... and play fundamentally sound basketball and have a little pride and win 1 game you really probably aren't supposed to.
In reality this is probably what most teams will do. But you just never know what the doctors may tell them about his rehab process and how it's healing. I think if he does go undrafted... he will get a deal and make a roster and probably end up starting in the right situation.
That could go either way though... they could have called a foul for forcing him OOB. But he did travel and I think step OOB before he got the pass off so... I would have called him OOB before I called the travel. Same premise stands though
Does CBG get any exceptions for bball like CPJ has for football now? If so he may need to use a few of those. We definitely don't have the Jimmies and Joes... but that's CBGs fault too. I think the game would have been closer had we changed rosters... but I still would put my money on Roy over...
This^^^^ Sticking with him after the past 4 years would be the dumbest non move ever made. You think McCamish is empty now... whew. Plus recruiting would plummet completely because no way is he a long term solution in the eyes of anybody
I haven't heard alot of this talk this season... I'm pretty sure even the last of the Mohicans have even jumped ship by this point. This isn't an excuse problem that we have in Tech basketball at the moment. It's a coaching philosophy and talent problem to the fullest. The players aren't...
Jarrett Jack should has his number retired. My favorite bball Jacket of all time. Was super productive and has an amazing game. Took us to the championship game which we loss due to Elder being injured. It's hard to think that them losing that game disqualifies him.
Do we even have a player who can catch an alley oop? Zero athletes on our team. We get killed in transition and on TOs. We have a team chock full of the opposite of athlete. Flat footed defense and offense. Jorge is the only guy who looks smoothe when running the floor
Smelter had to be the most clutch player we've had around in a long time. He always seemed to make the big play when we needed it. He will be a HUGE steal in the draft. His weaknesses don't seem to be unfixable and you can't teach size and physicality. 11" hands is unheard of where I come from...
This is also a worry of mine. With the academic rigors at Tech and tight ship that coach runs... I feel like alot of potential goes to waste by RS certain players. I think if they are borderline... we should play them and worry about a RS down the road if needed. Unless they are just too small...
