This. If we can't terminate him for cause, he needs to stay on for two more years. It would be an unmitigated disaster to pay this guy a large buyout. Thankfully, from everything I hear that is not going to happen.
There is nothing new here. All of this is old news, and yes we will probably get hit with a loss of a scholly. BFD. This program already flushes scholarships on turds (excuse me, projects) better than a latrine situated at the base of Niagra Falls.
People I know inside that program say the small print on the contract limits the Manning liability significantly should he be let go if certain metrics aren't met. One thing is certain, Manning continues to be their coach if they have to dole out $18M.
I would definitely take the Jackets at around +300 on the moneyline in this spot. Unfortunately none of my books are offering moneyline wagers on this game yet.

Not to be a wet blanket but Wake is a terrible defensive team, especially in transition. It seems they have been so ever since Manning took that job. I hope we can execute with tempo against the rest of the league, but I wouldn't place any large wagers on it.

The early signing period was worse than a swing and a miss. I would take rolling all the scholarships over wasting one on a kid who has no chance of ever being an ACC caliber player. And yes, I know Cremins did that routinely but he was recruiting elite level talent and promising minutes was a...
Pastner is a dead man walking. He thought he could come to the ATL and recruit like he was at a **** school like Memphis. GT donors are nothing like Memphis donors. And the Georgia Institute of Technology is nothing like the University of Memphis. Major career miscalculation on the part of...
