    GT (+7.5) vs. Miami

wah wah wah.... We mostly beat ourselves, so teams don't really need any time to prep for us. I don't think there is any sort of conspiracy at work.

    Pitt vs GT (-1.5)

Definitely. I haven't rewatched the game, but the one that sticks out in my mind is the one where he tied the guy up for what should have been a held/jump ball. That was complete BS.

    Savage Musical Chairs at McCamish

Nerd for the win! From the work smarter not harder playbook. I thought that was awesome! I thought he deserved to win for not only thinking of that move but also for executing it flawlessly at full speed. Navy blue looked pissed though. I really thought he might punch him.

    Home Court Gold Color

I have been to all but one home game this season, and I don't really notice the color of the court in person, but it is worse on TV broadcasts, especially Raycom I think. Regardless, I am glad to hear they will be doing a redo in the offseason. Let's hope Adidas has absolutely no involvement...

2/16 Roll Call vs FSU (Post Game Ice Cream Party?)

I agree with everything you said. On Devoe not playing well, Pastner said in his post game interview with Andy Demetra after the game that both Devoe and Alvarado were game time decisions on whether or not to play because they had both missed 2-3 days of practice with flu. No excuses, but this...

Ouch. That sucks. TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!

2/16 Roll Call vs FSU (Post Game Ice Cream Party?)

I was at the game, but I was wondering the same thing. I've been in favor of reducing his minutes, but 1 minute? That's curious.

2/16 Roll Call vs FSU (Post Game Ice Cream Party?)

On point #1, when Moses starts, it is troubling. When he starts, but only plays 6 minutes in the game, you know Pastner is just throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks.

2/16 Roll Call vs FSU (Post Game Ice Cream Party?)

Totally agree. It is a shame. We probably wouldn't have this problem if we played in podunk middle of nowhere, but in ATL, there is no shortage of visitor fans for pretty much every ACC or SEC team we play. Maybe when we remodeled, we should have reduced seating capacity to 4,000.

2/16 Roll Call vs FSU (Post Game Ice Cream Party?)

A note about McCamish: sell out crowd equals road game environment. I will never get used to getting run out of our own gym by the opposing team's fans.

2/16 Roll Call vs FSU (Post Game Ice Cream Party?)

This team plays scared. When the shot clock gets under 10 seconds, it's like watching a game of hot potato. None of them wants to be the guy that shoots and misses. I wish they all had the same apprehension about being the guy to pass the ball out of bounds as the shot clock expires.

GT at ND Post Game Discussion

I think 8.4 ppg 24 mpg were Usher's 2018-2019 stats (sophomore season, only 12 games), but I agree with you nonetheless. Hopefully he will fit in nicely and average double figures next year.

Correction... Philips only averaged 6 ppg at TN.

GT at ND Post Game Discussion

10-4. I agree on Banks and Devoe, but they are already on the roster and already averaging double digits or almost this year (Banks 10.4, Devoe 9.2). Maybe/hopefully they will both be closer to 15 nest year. Usher, we will see. He was averaging 8.6 through 12 games of non-conference play in...

GT at ND Post Game Discussion

I agree with your sentiments about Jose, but who are these scorers that will be available to pass to next year?

GT at ND Post Game Discussion

Jose can be our point guard for the next two seasons, but I agree he should go back to primarily running point and Devoe should be at the wing.

GT at ND Post Game Discussion

Trying to do too much and being asked to do too much or the wrong thing in some situations. I have seen some of all of this. On being asked to do too much or the wrong thing, last night I did not think it was a good strategy to be using Jose at the high post area on the interior of the Notre...

GT at ND Post Game Discussion

Jose has had his ups and downs this year. Granted, right now he is in a slump. More worrying is whether or not we are still seeing that same fiery competitive spirit and leadership that he has been known for in his short time here. You can't really blame him in my opinion. It's hard to...

Article Jackets Look to "Get Right" vs Clemson

No way he resigns. This is his career. This is what he has to do for another 20 or 30 years. He can't just quit. Losing a few games is frustrating, but it is kind of part of the job. He does need to get a grip though. I have heard him say in a couple of interviews that he doesn't sleep...

Article Jackets Look to "Get Right" vs Clemson

I'm not a fan of CJP calling out specific players in these press interactions. Every now and then is fine, but when your guys are obviously in a mental mess is not the right time. "We need so-and-so to be better" is not a strategy, it's a hope. He said the same thing about Lammers constantly...
