What sucked about the end of Paul’s tenure is we rarely ran true triple option. For some reason he fell in love with the Counter with Taquon. With Tobias it seemed like he didn’t trust him to make the reads and ran a lot of QB sweep.

Triple Option lives and dies with being able to have success with BBack dive and that’s all on the OL. Navy’s OL was dominated.

You’re right. Being a proven better player in HS, and having more experience means nothing.

More then just the height. Stocky build, extending plays with feet but not just by escaping the pocket, ability to throw on the run, side arm throws etc.
