Well, one “big, big improvement” I’d love to see this season would be to knock down our team’s ERA by one full run under last year’s team ERA of 5.71. Is that a reasonable expectation? I dunno … but I’d love to see it, for sure! A team ERA of 4.7 should get us into the top 5 of the ACC. Here...

I agree with FredJacket. Need big, big improvements in all four (ERA, Walks, HBP, and BA) this season. Use of computer-generated analyses of pitching mechanics, measurements of spin rates, etc. etc. doesn’t mean diddly if there are no improvements in the four above-listed, actual in-game...

I was very impressed with the work of the two freshmen relievers, Cody Carwile and Aeden Finateri. Rarely is UGA’s baseball team shut out, but boy, it happened today! Let’s get the broom out of the closet for the game tomorrow … 👍🐝

Also … it sure was nice to see Medich close it out neatly 1-2-3 in the top 9th.

Boy I sweated bullets in that top 8th. Breathed easier when we tacked on 3 more runs in that bottom 8th. Simpson was stupid fast in beating out that bunt to get things going! He’s amazing

I’ve been informed, just this morning, that the GT-UGA series this weekend — the series, all 3 games — are sold out. My wife and I had hoped to attend the Sunday game at Coolray. We had planned to walk up to the ticket booth and buy our tickets there … Looks like we should have ordered in advance.

Hard to say, after only a few games. Competition will be tougher ahead.

Well, I voted 55 <60%, about the same as last year’s mark. Frankly, at this point in the preseason, the team’s pitching is simply a huge question mark.
