    Attrition

IMHO The coaches managed the numbers pretty well. We have ether 84 or 83 on scholarship. That's better than most years.

    Griffin, Devine, Marshall, Brigham, Fromayan

We will have four senior members of the OL next year. Three if O'Reily leaves early. With Chambelain, Braun, and Joe gone next year. DeVine, Marshall, Burden, Griffin, and one of Klock, Fromayon, Stickler, or Preddy will start. We need to keep everybody happy next year, because their time to be...

    Do you believe in miracles?

It was a very very good year. Enjoy it. I hope for another like it next year, but like you say luck plays a big part of it.

Senior Appreciation Deon Hill #31, RS SR, Became a Jacket on 1/24/10

Nice series of posts featuring our senior class. Maybe not the top rated of talent, but most had tremendous character overcoming adversity. They were a great senior class.

    looking ahead B Back

ZL and SD may not be as good as Dwyer, but we are going to really miss them next year.

    Looking Ahead - OL

As usual, thanks for an excellent write up. Offensive line looks to be one of our strengths next year.

Justin Thomas for Heisman in 2015?

We probably distribute the ball around to much for a running back to win it either.

Shaq Mason named 1st Team All American by USA Today

Well deserved selection by Shaq. I guess he must have hurt a lot of ACC coaches feelings (by beating their DLs into submission) to get the ACC snub.

    Next year?

Our defense will probably be better next year. On offense quarterback and OL will probably be better. We lose Smelter, Waller, and Dennis at wide receiver. At running back we will have Snoddy and Andrews at A Back, but no one with experience at B Back. We will have a lot of holds to fill on...

Should we be Glad we lost to Duke and UNC?

I would have rather beat Duke and UNC. I think we knew that defense needed serious attention. I can't think of any game we would be better off losing.

I know many are very confident...

I agree. FSU will be hard to beat. I would like our chances a lot more if Smelter was playing. I have been wrong all year about our chances of winning. I want to keep my streak alive.

DeAndre Smelter has a torn ACL

God, Has DeAndre had horrible trouble with injuries. Rotator cuff tear ended his pitching career. I hope the ACL tear doesn't end his football career.

    Injury update

Let's hope DeAndre recovers completely and has a great pro career.

    Most Painful MUTT loss ever?

Every one of them are painful. I haven't recovered from last year.

    Gonna Miss Snoddy

Snoddy has really improved his game this year. We will miss in the last two games, but it sounds like he will come back strong for next year. Go Jackets. THWG

    BEATING UGA

Right on brother. We need to win two football games and good things will follow.

    Clemson 40, GT 8

Clemson really seemed to go into a funk when Watson went out. Their resiliency was really poor. Throwing three inceptions; two for TDs didn't help. I was surprised that Clemson didn't try to run the ball down our throat up the middle. UGag probably will try but at least we have Green back. Go...

    GT - Clemson postgame thread

Snoddy has really has worked hard to improve his blocking and spacing his distance from QB to take the pitch. He has tremulously improved his game this year. I hope that he recovers fully for next years games. b to tak
