    Louisville Post Game

Our defense is no better than last year and I'm disappointed in the play of the secondary. From my point of view, we're doing a better job rushing, but it's mostly late in games and we are horrible at zone coverage, our safeties are several steps too slow in coverage, and our LBs are worthless...

Is Collins nasty enough to be a HC ?

From what I've seen, I think the positional development is improved dramatically from CPJ. I think S&C is improved. I think the discipline and game readiness leaves a lot to be desired. We seem consistently unable to defend an opponents first drive on defense and only seem to move the ball well...

GT 7.5 Home Dog to UCF

Just good enough that their coach left them for Nebraska right after their "National Championship"

GT 7.5 Home Dog to UCF

I hope our safeties play a bit quicker than yesterday otherwise the plays over the top are going to hit. I agree that we need to run the ball and control the clock. If we can take away some of the underneath routes and disrupt the pocket, I think our corners are good enough to stick with their...

    Jeff Sims' First Collegiate Game

The GT fan in me is saying: remember when Taquon looked great vs Tennessee? What about Taylor Bennett vs WVU? In reality, this guy looks like the best and most natural QB in a long time at GT. I barely remember Godsey and Hamilton so, from my frame of reference, he's probably got the tools to...

QB- huge improvement from last year, even with the stupid mistakes. Looks like a top half ACC QB with a skill set that gives him a really high ceiling. Will need to take a huge leap before UCF if we want to win. RB- so much talent here, glad we leaned on them in the second half WR- the routes...

    Antonneus Clayton injured?

If he was in the hospital (I will say that looks more like a doctor's office or clinic if picking nits, still), then it's not worth the risk to rush things.

    Starting QB speculation

The posts in this thread indicate that nobody actually listens to the coaches. How many times do they have to talk about which QB projects themselves the best by checking calls at the line? "Oh, this guy should start because he's the most athletic and can scramble" is being said about the guy...

    #GTCamp20 Coverage

I don't know, I remember my coach getting on someone for getting stuck between covering 2 receivers in a zone and yelling that you can't cover both if you don't cover either. 3 years later I turned that exact scenario into a game winning interception on the goal line when I was in no man's land...

    Improved OL

Just popping in to remind everyone that OL play was a weakness before last year. This isn't a 1 or 2 year rebuild. If we can make it until these freshmen are seniors, we'll be top 4 in the ACC.

    Projected Starting Lineup

I haven't been to practices, so I don't know, but I really am hoping someone comes in and forces the coaches to have to play them at the QB, DL, and LB positions. I think it's pretty apparent that already is in the works for a revamped OL.

I would play golf. I just don't want to organize it.

    Quarterback for next year

I agree. It bears out at most schools. Completion percentage is, very generally speaking, a measure of ability, not maturity or knowledge or strength. You can fix mechanical flaws to improve it slightly, but you aren't going to turn a John Smoltz into a Greg Maddux.

    Quarterback for next year

Name the last time we had a QB significantly improve their completion percentage over their career.
