So true. I have a pile of Georgia relatives and know a pile more. They could care less about academics in relation to the football team. They openly bragged for years about their bagman.

But it has to be brand specific. Vandy or Kentucky winning it all is not the same as Ga, Bama, or LSU. Same as Duke, Wake, or BC. As much as I hate it, we need the U, Clemson, VT, and FSU to all be good the same year. Rather it be us though.

Always smoke, mirrors, and rumors this time of year. But what if Harbaugh or Smart go pro, and/or Saban retires. I think the dominos would fall and the floodgates would open. Not only coaches, but players also. We’ll know more after Black Monday or after the CFB playoffs.
