Wouldn’t bother me one bit. Rather see that than LSU or GA or Alabama play each other for the third time. Plus if it makes ND join a conference, I’m all for it.
Could always be a former coordinator that’s an analyst for a playoff team, but being a western and northern teams, may not have connections. Of course he could be on the staff.
The CFP should have been the top 8 conference champions from the get go. You don’t win your conference, too bad. No committee, no polls, just the champions. If your conference doesn’t have a CG, the conference picks one. Sorry, ND!
As much as I hate to say it, we need for VT, U, us, and Clemson to all have 10 win seasons. That will change the perception. I pull for us to win and them to lose, but we need 5 dominant teams and five door mats.
Have the Falcons ever done anything that wasn’t hilarious?
I don’t think he would leave, but:
*he wouldn’t have to recruit
*you can lose 6-7 games and still make the playoffs
*money
*going out pretty much on top
*Urban type burnout
*something related to the stuff that happened last year legally...
One rumor I heard was that Kirby goes to the Falcons for a boat load of money. If he wins fine, if not he goes to Bama when Saban retires. Another rumor was that Harbaugh was pi$$ed at the Big and Michigan for not defending him when he was suspended. Then Brian Kelley goes to the big house...
I agree. Oregon looks really good on paper. I could easily see us in that situation if we had gone undefeated. Would have been interesting to see what would have happened if a 12-0 or 11-1 ND would have been snubbed.
