For the record, I feel confident that we will not make the NCAA tournament this year (unless somehow we win the ACC tournament), for a number of reasons already mentioned, but honestly, we just aren't good enough. I am already setting high expectations for next year, though. ;)

I don’t know where to go to find rankings and don’t really care to learn, but wouldn’t it be a simple task to look at top performing teams year in and year out and see if they have (or don’t have) top ranked recruiting classes? If so, I would assume the rankings are a good indicator of talent...

Kind of let go of the rope there at the end. So, every (ACC) series we have been blown out in one game. In the non-blow out games we are 6-2, which is quite amazing given the obvious weaknesses we have.
