  1. Future Uniform Rumor

Black and gold wouldn't be awful with a black GT (either solid or outline), black stripe, black cage, and the normal gold background. The ones in the tweet look like garbage.
  2. Pastner cleared of Ron Bell lies

People are throwing around the word "legal" here. The NCAA doesn't have subpoena power, they can't put people under oath, and nobody is legally required to turn over information like you would during discovery in a legal case. Nobody has any "legal" responsibility and the definition of a lie...
  3. BMW co marketing

Ford is about to get rocked by their own emissions scandal like VW did. I'm glad we are not connected to that right now. Maybe Mercedes next time for the Atlanta connection?
  4. NFL Draft results

I'm still salty the Clemson dudes who got busted for cheating got a combine invite and he didn't.
  5. Tech Defense

What are your thoughts on 4-3 under vs. over as far as roster goes? Any differences you like to see from the linemen in each front? I'm getting old but I think I remember the weak side edge position in an under front is usually a pure pass-rusher and sometimes plays without their hand down. Who...
  6. NCAA violations found at GT

Pastner has as many scandals as he has losses vs. UGA which is impressive.
  7. Where will RB's move?

I think Gantt had a pretty brutal leg injury in highschool and I don't know if he's been the same since. He was an early commit in his class so he was probably near the top of our board for A-Backs, and we honored his commitment even though he missed most of his senior year. He hasn't really...
  8. Where will RB's move?

I think we use Cottrell and Jarrett as RBs and WRs on sweeps simply because they are seniors and learning a new position may not be worth the investment at this point.
  9. ‘Ol CPJ’s GT spread option offense

Our offense also had to play against the PED squad on defense.
  10. More GT Alums hired as quality control specialist

We have another department for that. The recruiting office looks at highschool tape, QC looks at tape and helps the coaches gameplan. They either look at opponents game tape or they will look at our own to see our tendencies and how they would attack our weaknesses.
  11. Odds Jalen Hurts follows Brent Key to Georgia Tech?

Probably pretty low, the Key connection is our big in with him. I think he could start on most teams so the world is his oyster so to speak. I think we have a better chance with the ND kid just because he is a little more under-the-radar of a lot of schools.
  12. Brent Key expected to join Georgia Tech staff

Well, I don't know what to believe except that I think Key has at a minimum talked to Geoff Collins and GT simply because of his history with Collins. Whether or not he was actually interviewed, offered, or hired I guess we will have to wait and see but I don't buy the "nobody's called me" part...
  13. 2019 Georgia Tech Football Opinion Question

I think he does, but I really don't care if he doesn't. TStan gave him a 7 year deal for a reason and if we are in a worst case scenario (ie Graham is ineligible, Lucas Johnson doesn't recover from his injury, and we don't sign a transfer QB forcing us to go with Oliver or a Freshman) I won't...
  14. Official GT announcement, OC and DC

We will need a TE coach and I'm guessing #11 will be a ST coach.
  15. Official GT announcement, OC and DC

Temple people on social media really didn't like their OC, but I kind of feel like 90% of teams hate their OC. I work around a lot of Clemson grads and even a lot of them don't like their OCs.
  16. Official GT announcement, OC and DC

The upside is that hopefully these guys are cheap. Collins is going to run the defense so the DC hire shouldn't be a concern. If the offense faceplants then hopefully Patenaude gets replaced in a few years and the job will be much more attractive if we recruit the way Collins is hoping.
  17. OC Hire

Coach has talked about having an NFL offense and a system that prepares kids for the NFL and even mentions NFL teams by name a few times (Chiefs, Rams, Bears). I really think he is going to bring an NFL guy in, probably not an OC since I'm not sure we can pay more than an NFL team, but a QB...
  18. OC Hire

I was only posting about ACC teams (+our half brother ND) and the local SEC teams that raid GA for talent.
  19. Assistants from Temple

If Navy picks up some of these guys they could turn it around next season.
  20. OC Hire

I decided to break down the ACC teams based roughly on the offenses they run, as well as some local SEC teams. There are obviously overlaps between between a spread and pro-style and each pro-style and spread is different (Clemson and Louisville for example are very different but I still...
