I'm firmly convinced that GT is a different beast than most programs. I've watched every coach since CBC and what I've observed is a real difficulty for anyone staying a consistent winner year in and year out. The conventional fan mentality of "fire the coach" after a bad year obviously does not...
According to the three commentators on SEC network coverage of media day. He did gain 4 yards in the second half of our game. I'd say our D and CTR shut him down.
I think CPJ is very reasonable when working with players on changing positions or not. One thing for sure he's not going to listen to anyone on this board in determining that nor should he. That's the way you get fired.
CTR knows what he is doing and he'll get the most out of what he has just like he did last year. He's forgotten more defensive scheme than we all know.

IMO it is so important at Tech to have a consistency in the coaching staff, more than most places because of the challenges of recruiting with our curriculum and standards. We have to realize that we will have ups and downs and not pull the rug out from under the program by firing coaches...
Bottom line is we can all speculate on what's going to happen next year but nobody knows. If we take care of business the individual honors will come including possibly a Heisman for JT.
