I made it pretty clear in other threads I didn’t want Chip Long as our OC. Too underwhelming for my taste since he left ND. However, I am willing to put aside my feelings for the time being and give him a chance.
Unfortunately for GT, I have to agree with you. It seems like Kittley will heavily consider the TTU OC position. However, Korn seems to be the kind of guy whose scheme would fit us. Even with the losses of Gibbs and JPM, we have a very talented RB room. His offense seems to be able to feature...
Why in the world would Long be the front runner? Did anybody in the Athletic Department even research his offense this past year with Tulane? Seriously, it was atrocious...
Checked out some of Tulane's offensive performances this year...started off strong then really tailed off as the season progressed. Points were hard to come by for them. The OU game looks like it was an aberration, not the norm. Can't say I would want Lindsey here over someone like Korn, but...
For somebody that might be in the know, I loved seeing the students on tv last night as I watched the game. Others have commented about how many more students were there than usual and I think Pastner said there were 2100. Did we run a special promotion for student turnout last night? Maybe an...
Great take. I read the article as well and that section jumped off the page at me. I love GT and want GT to succeed, ergo I want Collins to succeed. If he can’t make that happen though and is hindering GT then he’s gotta go. My loyalty lies with GT, not Collins. Seems he doesn’t realize he’s a...
Not that I was surprised, but Gibbs leaving hurts more than any of the games we played this year. I can't say I blame the kid, and I hope he succeeds wherever he goes, but I'm more sad about this than anything we saw this year.
Why did we choose to retain our WRs coach? Yes I know the QB didn’t have any time to get the receivers the ball, but they created almost little to no separation all year long. In fact, outside of McGowan, you’re looking at a bunch of dudes who under performed all year long….just a thought
After watching the game last night, I was very impressed with this team. Like others have said, this is the type of game that we would have lost in past seasons. Even with the flu, Devoe out, and low energy, we still found a way to battle through it and make it not as close as the score...
So I will preface this response with the fact I never played college bball, but did play all four years in high school and started 3 of them with my freshman year being the 6th man.
Ugag was simply hot. There were a couple times when our rotations were just a tad slow and guys had open shots...
I’ve been a GT fan my entire life which granted isn’t too terribly long. I can remember always trying to find the scores to the game or hoping to catch it on TV or make the trip to see it in person. Even when my life started getting busier I would put the game on record to watch later or listen...
Who from the Irish has their Heisman candidate game this Saturday? Does our secondary make Jack Coan look like the second coming of Joe Montana? Does our defense make Kyren Williams look like the next coming of Jerome Bettis? Who knows? What I do know is that we will walk away with another...
BC 38 - GT 26
Our defense makes another QB look like a Heisman candidate.
BONUS: Who has their "career game" or "single-game (insert statistic here) school record" game against us this week?
