Should we expect an announcement from Ian Mathews soon? Certainly it's speculation, but geez Ivey seemed poised for a breakout 2022 season with us. From an outside view, it doesn't make much sense as he seems he would have a big spot on the field for 2022. Oh well, I wish him success in the future.

You're right, I basically was repeating what you had already said. For a player like Howard, it is better for him to hedge rather than flat out switch due to his limited mobility and tendency to foul at the basket. It also helps when Moore can rotate down to cover the big while Howard recovers...

From what I saw last night, we actually switched him off a good bit, at least in the second half. I remember thinking to myself that he was doing a really good job cutting off the drive when he was the primary defender on a guard. Now granted we would usually rotate pretty quickly to get him...

Did the Hawks choose to keep the wrong wing? Sure, Hunter has had his fair share of injury issues, but to me he just seems lost at times and Reddish showed he could be a really key piece during the ECF last year….just my two cents

Yeah, every time I see the Hawks lose a game, I have to remind myself that 3/4s of the team is dealing with COVID issues and we really are fielding a G-league team right now. Hopefully they can get over this soon and please start playing some defense lol.

I switched over to this game late and was happily surprised to see SDSU beating UTSA. Glad LJ had such an amazing final game and showed his talent! Super happy for the kid!

I have been known to harp on Khalid Moore for some of his shortcomings, but he really played a good game last night I thought. He added some much needed scoring and rebounding when it mattered most. Hopefully this is what we get out of him every night.
