I think Birr can be reliable if we can keep the rushers out of the backfield. That should be fixable. He showed that he can elevate his kicks and the few attempts he's made seem to be on line.

There doesn't seem to be enough athletically instinctual, individual efforts made collectively on any one play.

I know what you mean about Russell. If they were responsible for the honeycomb then that is the only negative thing I remember about them. The Calvin "gold jersey white helmet combo" is about as good as we've had in a long, long time.
